Sooo... there's no way anyone will make a script to reset relations? Man, that's a shame.

What a baffling game design choice, basically breaking game and stopping players from progression.

This addon is an absolute must have for everyone playing Dead Air. I guess I'll have to start over again too :D

Any chances for reset feature for non-modding / scripting players? :)

Don't know yet if buying military pass from Snitch in bar will grant me ability to make some military side quests and improve ecologists rep and I woulkd hate to start over - some way to reset the rep would be blessing, it's just -75 now

in 098a I didn't knew about those "connections" and when I cleared south Cordon post and many hours later found out nerd faction I always loved to cooperate with is shooting at me, I basically quit the game and removed it from drive instantly :D, soooo frustrating

It's related to broken model of one of Duty NPC's in Garbage when he get's killed. I think patch 2 fixed this issue for me.

I vaguely remember that running it from console affected current game even loaded from save. It was definetly an option in Lost Alpha too and worked wonders, helped a lot with making old music video, maybe it can be brought back in CoC and mods derived from it too?

I can confirm, time_factor edit only affects new game.

BTW, wasn't time_factor available as console command at some point of CoC development and got removed? Can it be reenabled as console command?

I'm playing LD with latest patch (but without Your fixes pack though). Small update:

On New Game everything works perfect - so crash on incoming rain is definetly just issue on my part with my save. "Unhandled exception" actually returns error in a log stating there were some dx11.dll errors - but I'm using dx10 in settings. Also changing time_factor in alife.ltx works with starting a new game - but after loading any of my saves time goes normal - I'm completely baffled wtf is going on with my installation, do You maybe have some idea if there's any way to make it work properly, or did current save became already corrupted beyond repair?

Anyhow Your addon is absolute must have, pure perfection, thanks for making it! :)

Minor bugs report, not even sure if it can be fixed, nothing biggie but may be helpful :)

- After sleeping the weather from before taking a nap stays up and then after script determined hour switch it changes instantly to the new one. After reloading sleep autosave it's already the proper new one from the get go.

- Many times while weather is changing into rainy (or stormy, no clue which one is chosen by script) game crashes with "Unhandled exception" error and after reloading last save - the weather cycle starts the same pattern, beginning from the weather preset activated after sleep autosave.

Is there some way to turn on visibility of weather change triggers in console maybe to pinpoint this issue better? Will these errors print something in some log? Can it be a result of activating addon on already existing save instead of new game? :)

Sounds like engine lighting settings, had some issues with them too - every addon modyfying waether seems to have it tweaked to its own liking and basically setting them up for yourself is the best way to go :)

Try to play around these console commands:

r2_tonemap_amount - this is directly responsible for super bright white sky and dark ground - it simulates human eye adaptation to lighting condidtions (like in real life, when You stay too long in dark enviroment and then go into direct sunlight, it makes you almost blind) - I lowered it from 1 to 0.5 and that was enough for me :)

r2_tonemap_adaptation - it's time it takes for eyes to adjust to new lighting conditions - if you set it to 5 (very fast) for testing purposes, you'll notice in game that when you look on the ground - it will become bright, then when you will look into sky - it will be very bright for a moment and then just switch to it's normal, not overexposed look. Then when you will look onto the ground again it will be almost black for a moment and then get brighter again. Setting it to 0.2 - 0.5 should make transition seamless in game

r2_sun_lumscale_amb - ambient lighting, higher number slightly increases light power in the whole screen

r2_sun_lumscale_hemi - higher number will mean less dark and black shadows and makes everything more "unlit"

Absolutely outstanding addon, immersion during game went through the roof for me, amazing job!!!!! Now I actually have to take weather into account when planning trips, this is great!

So far - working flawlessly on 60+ hour save (Installed SWTC Advanced first, then TRXGW 2.2 with swtc patch pasted in)

I rendered my models in Source Engine with green screen and then mixed that footage with recordings in post-production using After Effects :)

First of all, thank You for AMAZING GAME and AMAZING EXPERIENCE.

I played on 1.4002 and didn't notice anything game breaking and had a lot of fun, a lot of scares, a lot of adventure, it was great! Apart from atmosphere breaking cutscenes Your work is perfect, excellent job :)

As for the bugs - there's one after finishing the game and going into freeplay mode. The weather You end up storyline with is stuck, console returns info "level_weathers:no transition hours".


Also, does anyone know how to turn off PDA text messages appearing on screen via console file or edit of game files? I want to get completely get rid of HUD and found the way to turn everything off except those messages. I would be really grateful for help :)
