That's more than awesome... Just make them strong as **** please. If a tier 5 unit has 400-500k health a t6 unit should have 3-4 million along with 3-4k regeneration etc... I really hope we will feel them as game enders rather than just a several times more powerful t5.

Nice! Btw can you integrate greater zoom and camera distance into your mod? It's already epic enough but can you increase the zoom so it goes on even greater scale?

Guys when you increase/decrease the size of the unit with scale = ... how do you increase/decrease the size of the debris so that when the unit dies the wreckage has a similar size to the size of the unit when its alive? Been tinkering around and playing with some implementations I am trying to make into ZH n just wanted to ask :)

Uhm people forget that this game is not about 1v1 fighting units. The Archangel excels not in 1v1 but in a support fight as it can use invicibility aura. (yeey 1.87). Also it has resurrection and utterly destroys morale with its ability.
I don't want to sound radical but I would safely say most tier 4 and tier 5 units are pretty much 90% balanced!

Cylarne is it possible to integrate NTcore into the installer so all players can have it automatically placed in their folder which will make multiplayer issues 10 times less. There will be much less files mismatches.

Nice. I can imagine the warlord titan with 80k hp- Great Gargant strength and the Imperator with 120k hp with 2 great gargants strength. The Imperator should still be vulnerable to demi-god units in Mele fights.I really hope they won't shoot in their legs.

I agree. The game engine simply doesn't handle that or if it does as you mentioned it looks pathetic. Legio Titanicus mod shows that clearly. It is obvious that those units are not for this game. I also think that it would be best to polish the mod as it is and then either move to a campaign or something else. It's been many years since it's been developed and it can't go on forever. The engine is from 2004 by the way... (Soulstorm was released 2008 but uses 2004 enginer)

If people want to see these units they can wait until DoW 3 has been modded or Supreme Commander/ Total Annihilation or a game with much more friendly mod engine. The game as it is now is on full maximum in terms of scale and capacity. Most people who play the game even play it on medium settings/ NTcore/ because the engine is not optimized for the things we see.

People are very hyped for Dawn of war 3...
I want to be honest here. Companies are no longer making epic RTS games... Face the facts. No company is going to ever make a game with a truly massive scale like Ultimate Apocalypse mod because it is way too hardcore and hardcore fans are n't as many as fan boys (who are often children) and just enthusiasts who will play for a couple of months and drop it. Thing is that money comes from fanboys not from hardcore fans. They make RTS games to suit the general audience.

An exception to that are a couple of games like Supreme Commander vanillae where you had to wait for 60 minutes until you could build an experimental unit... It was truly massive. Then it got dubbed down into Forged Alliance and in Sup Com 2 you have a game where the 1st experimental gets out in the 10th minute...

What I am trying to say is that the general playerbase are keeon on playing short games with lots of dynamics but not having a sense of scale. (something UA mod has). Sadly EPIC SCALE RTS are often doomed to failure in terms of gross because most children who play these games simply can't handle the scale of it and they prefer Starcraft scale wise games where the weakest unit (the marine has 50 hp and 8 of them kill the strongest one - battlecruiser (which has 550 hp)- DISGUSTING!)

The only thing which bothers me about unlimited turrets is how Soulstorm engine will handle it. I still think it will be safe to just put a limit like 60 turrets per faction to just make sure that people won't crash games because of UBER spam.

Base commanders might be a bit strong but uber commanders like swarmlord, GM etc are quite ok. They need tier 4-5 and enemy players should be punished for allowing you to farm for these units which cost like 10k req and even more.
