Also do they go into anomally fields hunting for artifacts? Because they seem to be only hanging around camps, rarely travelling around the map. Maybe it's because I'm too early into a new game, I don't know.
Hey, just wanted to ask how restricted A-life is in this? Do AIs move between the maps or do they only spawn and stay in the same map? Also does it have offline squad simulation as in Clear Sky Faction wars? Because restricted A-life pretty much ruined Lost Alpha for me.
I kinda feel sorry for the whole Dez0wave team. Yeah, they could've prepared better, but still this sh*tstorm currently occuring is really inadequate, considering that LA is free.

All maps should be finished, they also mentioned in their news that it should be stable. Nothing should be cut out but few features will be disabled, like seeing your hands in a car. Probably nothing major, really.
Dez mentioned several pages back that you won't be able to reach some location without certain progress in a story, because that would interfere with storyline's scripts. However after completing main storyline you'll be able to travel freely between locations and do some side quest in a sort of a free play mode.
Nope it's in English, at least lines important for the story as far as I know. And I prefer it that way, and also I think that voiceover they've done is pretty good, about the same quality as original SoC in my opinion. And I really that one back in good ol' days :)

I just noticed in the Demo Video 2014 that after firing weapon there's an air shimmering comming from an ejection port, simulating heated gasses comming from the chamber. Nice little detail ;)
The best thing they could do IMO is that they would upload the game in a password secured archive, for example week before release. And on 26th they would just give us a password. So the traffic on day 1 wouldn't be so overwhelming. That's how Forgotten hope devs are releasing their new update today btw.
That's quite a reasonable assumption. I think you got a point, especially with people trying to discredit Dezowave. Let's just hope that whole AI will be working as we all wish, since it's one of the most important things, considering how much it adds to the atmosphere. I guess we'll just have to trust Dezowave and we'll see soon for ourselves (only 16 days!).

I wonder how restricted will the A-life be in the final release. I've read some posts on GSC forum complaining that the AI in leaked build is nowhere near as unrestricted as advertised. I wonder whether that is true. So will the A-life be restricted in any way, or will they be (almost) completely free like they should have been in original stalker?
The stuff traders sell change quite often. I sometimes have problem to buy one specific ammo, but after some time he has tons of the rounds i needed. Also you can try it at Beard, he sells ammo too.
It's ok :) TZP stands for True Zone Project, group that made Misery. Also there are lots of modding groups that don't release patches and they fix bugs in new full scale release or they just don't care. So you have to wait considerably longer. And that new content part. I wasn't asking for it, I only stated that it is great when a patch doesn't bring only fixes but also something new (like new weapon in this patch).
Yep same applied to me, but it got ballanced after 2 in-game days.
You might wait some in-game day, till the population is ballanced, I had right opposite of your problem, but it is ok by now.
You should try running it with DX9 with enhanced dynamic lighting. It seems to solve a lot of problems.
Have you tried installing patch? Im running on laptop and i run just fine with enhanced dynamic lighting and everything on max, except antialiasing.
Nice to see you guys from TZP didn't stop working on a mod and you are still improving it. It would be great if you could add some new content in future patches like with this one :)
Only improtant things are voiced in english and has subtitles in MISERY. Generic stalker chat around campfire is always in original language.

These are the ones I know about, there are several others. A zdravim :)
Animals (not sure about harder mutants) should go to their liars (which are usually at the corners of the map) during the night. Also rookie/regular stalkers/hunters stay in their bases. And until you do certain quests in Jupiter the game will not spawn veteran stalkers which are patroling the area or going to hunt mostly during the night.
It's always better with some head protection ;)
Well, you get somehow better performance and also the game shouldn't crash so much with MISERY.
