Nice but without MIPS it's creating issues like over-sharpening\specular\blah\blah\whatever\things. I can't really tell at least on my end, although I have ADEGA Atmos and SSS etc I also unpacked them and is at the bottom of the 1133 mods...so it may be on my end

Update: It is indeed the MIPS. I re-exported them with MIPS and zero issues now. I think the issue is people use different grass size and without mips it screws things and stuff and junk

Good catch dude. I've had to "reintroduce" a few things myself that gamma updates remove. In my personal opinion and no offense to gamma or the contributors but for myself a lot of the removed or changed things seem to be "because update" that's why lol. They are easy fixes and not a big deal whatsoever but sometimes I don't catch a change and think I'm just crazy or remembering wrong because I missed a sentence in the patch notes.

I know the documentation regarding textures is sorely lacking I've have to basically figure it out on my own to mod ui,icons,models,and textures. I ended up writing and modifying a couple of scripts for some textures I use personally just to get them to fit etc I'm definitely not all knowing, but if more contributions in general were pushed to the anomaly modding book that certainly wouldn't hurt.

There isn't a “AtmosR” anymore, only “Atmos”. Disable/remove older Atmospherics versions and only run cfg_load Atmos.

is only located in item_radio.script
I just uncomment to
--printf("on_before_key_press(%s)",key) whenever I update not sure why it happens to me too i suspect another script in some mod is calling it but doesn't typically exists
I havn't seen anything else printing out that he/she is experiencing though

I have a random request. Would it be possible to add a dummy laser to originate from the center of the barrel? To line up the barrel with the crosshair more precisely. I have noticed that on guns with lasers it is extremely easy to get everything perfectly aligned perhaps it can be done by binding it to a relatively pre-configured origin like fire point as that's done in blender by the artist as I understand it.
