[FOR MODDERS] Allows you to change hud values in weapon hud editor by dragging your mouse
[FOR MODDERS] This mod extends weapon hud editor in debug mode and allows you to change hud values in weapon hud editor by dragging your mouse.
To change values you have to hold your mouse1 or mouse 2 keys on the screen and drag the mouse. To change which values to change (hands, aim, lowered, etc), press arrow keys. The hud position of the weapon will follow your mouse movements and change its values accordingly. Holding shift will increase the magnitude of hud movement, holding alt will even more increase it.
It comes with two modes, changing modes is done in hud editor panel in list box:
- Per group drag mode (default): items in the whole group will be changed according to your mouse movement, this allows freely adjust your hud position. If you hold mouse1, first two options will be changing which corresponds to XY coordinates. holding mouse2 will change third option or Z coordinate
- Per value drag mode: this will limit your adjustments to the value which is currently selected (covered in gray box). Holding mouse1 and moving up will increase the value, moving down will decrease it
Introducing 3D Weapon Position editor that allows to adjust how the weapon will look on other stalkers. When toggled, a dummy stalker will spawn to help with adjustments. Here are the control scheme:
- Hold Middle Mouse button and move the mouse to orbit around the stalker
- Shift + Middle Mouse button and move the mouse to pan the camera
- Ctrl + Middle Mouse button and move the mouse to zoom
- Movement keys will move the camera as well
- On the hud editor window you can change the time factor, dummy stalker state (idle, strapped, threat or fire) and change how to adjust values (per group or per value
The demonstration of this is below:
Pressing save on hud editor will save your edits into cache_dbg.ltx file in gamedata/configs. From there you can copy-paste changes to your ltx file of the weapon. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE cache_dbg.ltx FILE IN gamedata/configs DIRECTORY BEFORE SAVING
You can restore old save method by pressing Numpad Enter, whether it will do save or not is for vanilla code to perform

After some tests, i can say that this mod is a must to have in Stalker !!! Very easy to use and modify the guns positions, big thx for that to the author :)
Little tip for the one using DLTX, just put what you saved from "cache_dbg.ltx" into a file like "mod_system_something.ltx" (put it in the same folder than cache_dbg), inside you can drag all your profils for each gun, but dont forget to put the sign ! in front of the ligne of the gun's name [wpn_xxx_hud] like those 2 exemples :

where are they used, can't seem to find in hud editor
they are used in the weapon's file like in w_ak74.ltx, looks like those 2 lines help to adjust the position of the hands on the gun

this mod enhances hud editor which comes with vanilla anomaly, i don't know anything about dead air so can't provide any help.

Автор, можешь сделать пожалуйста так, чтобы эти новые значения положения оружия сразу сохранялись в файлы оружия? Мне неудобно по 100 раз выключать игру, искать проклятые значения и вставлять новые.
Скорее всего, технически невозможно
Был один мод, который позволял оригинальному редактору положения оружия сохранять значения без крашей, но он тоже через жопу как-то работает, иногда кнопка тыкается и не выдает изменения.

Is it possible to edit just the lowered ready position while leaving the ADS position as the original with this? Whenever I change non-ADS positioning the ADS position gets messed up too. I must be misunderstanding something.

A quick guide: make changes to FOV, press apply, copy aim_hud_offset_pos_16x9 etc text from cache_dbg.ltx @ Stalker Anomaly\gamedata\configs to, e.g., w_ak74u_n1.ltx ЧерныйStalker Anomaly mods\mods\BAS\gamedata\configs\items\weapons.
