LOL yeah defying physics. Heavy riding a horver bot. Hover bot moves, heavy bot stays in the air. They hover over ramps. Yeah this is some crazy **** bro. Bugs. So with these bugs could they be fixed by turning them diagonal so their feet match the ramps?

Colors look fantastic. I like how they move and wander around.

New gibs should be fun. Good luck on the heavy gibs. New sounds should be cool. It still sounds very Quake, but that's your base. I can only imagine a cyber robot 80s soundtrack.

I hope by the time the game is done you have loading hallways or loading doors so its not a level end, but a continuation. But for now, I understand that its the end of the level.

That blue thing looks like a barrier. Will there be shutter doors like Zelda where you need to kill all the enemies?

Only issue I see with this is its so tall that it should be able to step down from larger areas, but step down meaning more to animate so it doesn't just hover half off a platform then fall.

I'm really loving the colors of the game. Its bright and vibrant. On the other hand, too much color and it will look like a bag of skittles. But there's always a tint to it all to keep it from looking like a rainbow.

Looks pretty cool. Like a zenomorph in armor with that big head. Spikes on the back might look more menacing. Any chance they can have emoticons over their visors? Quality work.

In the future keys will be spikes like robocop. Spikes to just stab people. Harpoon would be good, hope it can be programmed. I'm still hoping for a spotlight as the eye. I think that I need to see it in game. I'm not sure if I like the spike on the back unless its supposed to hang from a wall.

I'm happy with 8 pulses at the same time in a semi-random spread. It will look cool and give the enemies a chance to survive.

Dynamic or realtime lights would be fantastic if they didn't affect the framerate or whatever its called. Shooting out lights might be fun, but then that would warrant a flashlight and this doesn't seem like a flashlight game. It would be cool, but not a must.

With a clean futuristic look of this game, lights play a big part.

I know nothing about DarkPlaces or the Quake engine. If its a long process you need to research, go with what you know first and dynamic lighting can be a frill at the end.

If you do the enemies with glowing eyes, it would still be cool to have shadow enemies. Darker versions, more stealthy.

I think for me its your lights that make the game stand out. Having a dynamic light source floating around would be pretty cool. Not sure if you can implement that. I know HL2 had blinding light enemies.

What about if a backpack has a random amount of ammo in it? At least make that canister glow or something so it looks more like an item pickup.

You ask if the story needs more plot. No man, you're good. I play a game, to play a game, not to read or watch a movie.

I'd be happy with this:
* 5 to 9 weapons
* Somewhere around 15 - 20 enemies plus some boss enemies
* 20 - 40 levels

Especially the enemies and levels part. I'd like some more melee weapons, but nothing would be cooler than a sword. I'm stoked.

Yeah man, please continue this. I know life gets in the way, but with the look of this mod, the clean textures and the lights, the weapons and the sword, I think we're looking at something special. I've seen a lot of Quake stuff over the past 15 years, but you've got a great foundation right now that will only get better. Combat looks like a lot of fun and I can see this being on Steam if you continue it. Anytime you need a fan, you've got one.

Dude, never give away this game. I haven't been so stoked for a Quake mod in a long time. This is worthy of my money. I'd pay you when its released. So far I think I'd pay $20 when its all done. Depending how much new and unique things you do with the game that $20 will go higher that I'd be willing to pay.

I remember Morrowind, moving left swings it left, moving right swings it right, moving forward does a stab, holding the button raises the weapon til you release it. So it does more damage and critical hits. I'm so used to the TF2 swordplay with beheadings and the new Shadow Warrior has some awesome swordplay. I do like how the character sways to the side. Wrack explodes everything into blood when it swords.
