Number 2 does happen. Play as the PLA in the Dalian Plant Winter and chose the second sniper rifle in the selection.

How do I remove the blur effect around scopes? The blur drops my frame-rate, and I am unable to buy hardware upgrades. I only play co-op in single-player with bots.
