Incredible mod which involves more than just replacing sounds and porting over models, but using completely redesigned models and quality sounds. Decently made and entities have been properly removed so that you only get the Duke3D weapons and no HL1 weapons (even with impulse 101).
As a suggestion, it would be great to see the crowbar replaced with Duke's foot.
Great idea, executed somewhat poorly. It's good to see for the most part that the modder simply reversed most triggers (for example, opened doors that were initially closed, and elevators that operate from the exit) but it isn't very aesthetically pleasing to see random tables and conveyor belts placed around the maps, nor to have to use tripmines/satchels to proceed. I thought having to use barncales to get up to high places was clever though. I understand this isn't a serious mod, but perhaps if anyone were willing to make this into a serious mod, I would definitely suggest reversing the actual puzzles so the game is actually completable in reverse without having to rely on tricks or randomly placed objects. Being able to control the tram at the 'end' was a fun touch, though.
It does what it says. It randomizes speech, the materials (what kind of 'gibs' it produces), random on-screen text and more. I can't say it gives a 'new, fresh way to play', it's still the HL campaign after all, but it's probably the best we'll get in terms of a randomizer.
Sven Co-op is a fantastic mod which the developers have kept alive for nearly 20 years - absolutely fantastic and every single year the mod has just gotten better and better!
