Every time i try to access SWR forums (forums.swr-productions.com), the website gives me an error stating that its server's DNS address couldn't be found. I've tried the usual troubleshooting methods, but it didn't work. Note that so far it's the only site that gives me such error.
It's been always like this before, except for one time, about a year ago, where i was even able to register and download the 1.86 beta patch on the forums.
I apologize for not knowing too much about networking, but is it because my IP address is blocked? It's my only possible assumption considering i've checked that my internet settings are all fine...

Every time i tried to install the newest version (v1201) the archive fails to open it, says that the installation file is corrupt. The readmes are fine tho.
I tried downloading from the direct link, from another moddb mirrors, and from the mediafire mirror, all to no avail. Have i done something wrong? My internet has a down speed of 80-100 kbps on average, by the way.

Hey, it's done for balance, as always. I felt about this annoyance too but i think making them that way would break the balance.
If SWR made these guys 1hitkill units with suppressed tacticool sniper rifle w/ scope and cloaked all the time, people will complain, like this: "Hey SWR why did you make pathfinders this OP?" or worse: "#$%^ SWR DON'T YOU KNOW THAT LITTLE THING CALLED BALANCE?! ASK YOUR MOMMY IF YOU DON'T!" Trust me, it'll happen if they did.
Besides, you can also, uh, mod the mod if you wish to change stuffs to your liking.
I think they have their own purposes. I believe acolytes are meant to be used as a complement for your tank armies. While paradrops are for "behind enemy lines" kind of operations to take out the enemy's crucial stuff deep behind their base (they're sf after all)
Besides Acolytes are pretty much crusaders plus coax mg but minus hover, and they have the plus side of NOT getting crushed by vehicles of the same size which paradrop infs don't have you know...
For myself i usually use Acolytes as a 'backup team' incase my main attack force get flattened.

The first thing i thought when i saw the leftmost and 2nd from left dudes: "WTF is that thing on top of their heads? a new type of mohawk? dunce cap? piece of shrapnel stuck on their forehead? megalodon tooth? or just another type of cutaneus horn?"
Turns out it's just the stock of their shotguns. silly me lol
Just a few personal opinions:
-Shenlong's waay too weak compared to what it seems like. I thought at this cost, i'm getting something atleats 3x better than dragon tanks. Turns out they gets shredded quite as fast as their little brethrens

-Something tells me that the ECA was meant to be kinda OP, or was it just me?
-Why don't you guts make delta guys be able to rappel from Ospreys?
-Angry mobs and insurgents feel kinda low poly compared to other infantry units

It crashes immediately after the game starts
I don't know why. This mod doesn't work at all on my PC
I've already copied the mod.ff file, z_rowmod_iw00-iw04, server. cfg and the settings folder into a folder named "RoWMod" on the Mod folder inside CoD4 directory.
I've also put in these commands after the target of the CoD4 MP shortcut:
"+set loc_language 0 +set fs_game "mods/RoWMod" +set dedicated 2 +set sv_punkbuster 1 +exec server.cfg +map_rotate +set sv_maxclients 64 +set developer 0" (without the " mark)
But, after i opened the iw3mp.exe shortcut, there's some kind of a console error appeared instead of the game. It says that it had something to do with the .shock files and missing soundaliases.
Any ideas?
