narudo running is a real thing! it makes you conserve the energy and harder to hit with a projectile since you arent carriyng a shield. thats how the japanese actually run IRL

As others said we need a daimyo edition version of this. This mod has some clever scripts and nice new looking scenes but much less factions and items

Also excuse me for a blunt opinion but pls use the daimyo edition chargen. Because men look like Woll Smoth and women look like mummy.....

just a guess but maybe you press tab too soon after winning and it counts as retreat? i seem to recall something like that , but not sure if in this mod or not, wait like 10 seconds or until the screen shows up on its own, to be sure

if it still glitches, its your game then

also dont tab to retreat, walk to the edge of the map and leave manually

found a bug, a bunch of villages on the left island have messed up layout, i.e houses floating in the air or submerged in the water. pls check that out too, if you still working on this mod

idk i like to put those "bulky" kozanes on female companion, the only thing a bit out of place is the shoulder plates. i think there are 2 or 3 types of kozane armors, one of them is not bulky

also ranged skill learning rate has always been OP even in native. I have like 400 in bows and 300 in guns without even trying, but only 150-200 in melee despite spending alot of time in arenas/tournaments.

bows are OP no question, i once was forced to kill a 250 man army with just a handful of companions, by shooting and retreating before taking damage.

Uwajima castle has missing prison building which makes prison break impossible

i'm not him but you can fix it yourself temporarily. open sugoroku.brf with openbrf , find the female body models and rename them so that the game reads the old mesh from ver.2 instead of the new one which lacks textures. thats what i did

i think i figured out what breaks the bodyguards. it's the random encounters. tested it on a new game and after one of those it works no more. maybe its just me? can someone confirm this?
anyway i guess i'm restarting and turning them off

whoops i did a clean reinstall and the bodyguard thing works now. don't know what was wrong. sorry for false alarm lol and thanks for still updating this.

still couldnt find the companion export menu though

thank you and by the way would you also fix the bodyguard feature that was in version 2 but is apparently missing in 3? the one which makes companions follow you around in towns and bandit ambushes etc. i did a test and even with 10 leadership and over 9000 renown they dont spawn. companion import/export also missing btw

there's still the bug with missing female textures (just remove your companion's clothes and you'll get all kinds of errors)
