The M-ATV is also being phased out. I see brand new MRAPs going to DRMO to be stripped and sold or destroyed every single day. If you have more information than me, please share.

I was pushing for the MRAP as well, but it looks like the MRAP will be phased out after all. The HMMWV is going to be replaced, but it won't be by the MRAPs.

The MRAP was developed to meet a specific need, and will not see future sustainability. They're already being transitioned to coalition nations, and will likely be scrapped or sold after the draw down. The HMMWV is more likely to be available in the situation the mod portrays. For future replacements, that is still ongoing, but it wouldn't be difficult to choose one of the vehicles in consideration if you wanted to go that route. Personally, I think the L-ATV is the most likely replacement.

Figured I'd comment back here. I've played a few games recently. The Internet is good enough to play online. Sometimes it gets pretty laggy, especially when everyone is calling home with Skype or whatever.

Also, I'm not on active duty any more. I'm a prior-service Marine, but nowadays I'm out here as a civilian, but I appreciate it.

Steam causes additional issues for some people, myself included. It took me an extra week because I had to download the Relaunch version. Some also don't have consistent enough Internet, or Internet at all. Don't just assume everyone is complaining for no reason.

Either way, you don't need Steam to play 1.015.

I didn't have my key to switch it over to Steam anyways. I was just going to buy the complete pack from Steam, but I didn't feel like spending my money again for three games that I already have. Plus, I would rather spend that money on CoH2, which hopefully will also see Modern Combat.

Disregard. I'm building a new computer right now, so I'll wait until that's done to worry about this. Can't wait to play on this thing. Easily the most powerful computer I've ever owned.

So how do I redirect the install path? The installer never gives me the option to change the path before it fails.

No, the links at the bottom of the page, to the forums, account registration, etc. They work on IE so I know I have the correct ones, they just aren't working in Chrome for whatever reason.

Anyone else having issues with the new site in Google Chrome? I have it working in IE, but I don't really ever use that.

I'm aware that I won't be able to play online. I don't play online now, because I don't have a good enough Internet connection to play online. It takes me at least a week to download anything usually, and I'm often out at places that have no connectivity at all. I've just blocked CoH from connecting, and play LAN or stomp the AI.

Didn't they have to disable several things in 2.700 to get it working with Steam?

Well I have these things called discs that I put in, and the strangest thing happens. I play CoH. I'm in Afghanistan and I don't have a good enough connection to play online.

Oh well, guess I'll be stuck at 1.014 until I go home.

Dude, the AT4 doesn't work like that. Having infantry just automatically continue to fire them like that wouldn't be accurate.

I ended up changing the Airborne to "Rangers" and the Green Berets to "1st SFOD-D". I just edited the names and descriptions. More realistic to me.
