I originally accidentally uploaded CrateDM3 as a Half-Life mod instead of a Quake 3 mod. I have no idea why this file is still showing up under Half-Life.

Artist: Neon Indian
Song: Change of Coast
Album: The Music of Grand Theft Auto V
Pros: Tons. The intro, the maps, the ability to play with more than 4 players, the variety of gameplay, this mod is pure awesomeness. And thanks to the bots, I also don't mind this mod being purely multiplayer.
Cons: Said bots have the intelligence of a tomato. Also, it would be nice to have an ingame guide to all of those game modes and weapon sets.
I uploaded this video onto Youtube. Just sayin'
Well, it has been almost ten years since this mod was last updated, so no, there are no servers. Just use the bots that come with the mod.
Actually, I think I found out how to install this patch on the WON Half-Life Game of the Year Edition:
1) Go to your Half-Life folder (mine is usually C:\Sierra\Half-Life) and rename "hl.exe" to something like "hl.exe.disabled"
2) Create an empty text file and renamed it to "hl.exe"
3) Download this patch
4) Click on the patch to install into your Half-Life directory
5) Start Half-Life normally
6) If you're on Vista or later, make sure the Data Execution Prevention thing allows the Half-Life launcher (aka hl.exe)
If it works with me on 64bit Vista, I think it can work anywhere.
Do you have any installation instructions for downgrading from version 1.1.0.6 (the Game of the Year edition) to this version?
The Existence Beta v1.4 (Win32) that was on fileplanet file still doesn't work. It crashes WON Half-Life and for Steam Half-Life, it gives this error message:
"You are trying to run a server with a maximum players setting higher then 14.
Please set maxplayers to a value below 14 and try again."
However, I can't seem to change maxplayers in the Create Server menu!

I have a series of videos on Youtube that takes a look at forgotten and obscure Half-Life mods. I turn, I thought it would be very appropriate to make an account on Moddb.
