How can I mod the infantry to vanilla formations again?
I think it was a deliberate decision to not respawn heroes
Huge unplayable lag on Raxus Prime and Kamino, my pc has handled huge battles before but here weirdly any battle with multiple clone units slows it down ALOT
Heard about ai issues and the CIS ai not teching, resinstalled FOC and deleted Scripts folder (new one wasnt created on reinstall, added it back in and deleted the RAW ai files) and went 17 days as the Republic on hard with only 1 attack by a single starfighter, same as the CIS too.
Also is this compatible with Republic at war
Which faction is harder and/or more fun to play as?
Ai unit priority needs to be changed, the republic ai likes to spam useless acclamators, corvettes, atpts, and medical droids. And the amount of time it takes for reinforcments to land is too long, right now its too easy to rush the spawn point and destroy units while their unloading. How would one change these?
Also Id recommend you guys change each land unit pop to 1, and give reinforcment points at least 10 pop, land battles are way bigger and more enjoyable that way.
Just dont change unit pop value to 0, the ai has the capacity to spam hundreds of land units, and just 10 units of saber tanks at once are really op, they rolled over a planet of mine which had flak guns, repulsorlift jammers, and tons of aats and artillery
does this game overwrite some ai files? playing acm 2.4 and ai is not doing much

how do you change a ships firing range? Im changing Targeting_Max_Attack_Distance but it doesnt do anything, anyone got tips?
Anyone find all ground units besides saber tanks, to be useless? The advanced ones are either too slow for my tastes, or too difficult to mass produce and replace. Saber tanks aree good at both attacking and defending and you can build them on any planet.
Though it might be because i modded the ground pop cap so i can have like 60 of them at once lol. they are like a rolling tide of death

does anyone find the cis harder to play than the republic
Whats the limit on the number of heroes in a raid? I forgot cause I modded every unit to have 0 pop and now it lets me raid with 5 heroes. I want to be fair
If you build 3-5 saber tank units, and rush the enemy spawn point with it,you'll be able to stop the cis invasion early. The tanks are very fast and will reach the spawn fast, and will destroy the units while they're deploying. I find it is cheap though. Try it, it works. I haven't lost a planet yet and I started at tech 1
But on every planet its the same strategy, locate the generator and destroy it. I'd like to assault a planet without worrying if my units are gonna get WTF owned by turbolasers
Good mod but the ai builds those turbolaser things on every planet, making ground battles even less fun :( Also it gets tiring trying to hunt down every unit, maybe in the next version there could be an abandoned sensor array on every planet?
