two primary issues I have seen:

1 campaign does not load. after hitting start button in campaign menu you return to main menu. happens with all factions

2 dwarven reskins do not load.

setup
full TATW
MOS with all encompassing patch
hobbit dwarves reskin
gondor marka horses
elven silver to gold both factions

installation order?

and I trust the team is working on it, but another suggestion might be to temporarily halt on a 4.0 update and put all hands on deck working on a translation. also, isn't it possible just to take many files from an english version of the game for the default voices and text? just an observer's idea... I only see so much and not what happens behind the scenes, so I could be sounding a bit arrogant. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!

I believe that while the German can be fought through... it does take something away from english speaking players IMO. While it isn't earth shattering, it is suprising that a mod team like this that is putting out such great work is unable to fit in an English translation as of yet... I think they would attract far more fans and players if they put out incremental translation patches (as an example). A lot of players might not even take the time to download and try this mod once they see 'english version coming soon'. Believe me, I'm a fan, but I'm trying to give some serious advice from a product polishing perspective.

Hey I really have to complement you on your guys' work with this mod. Really something. Those new models for the Sherman variants for 1.8 look very good as well. I have played this mod for a while... and I have had a great time with it.

But I just have two things...
1) maybe its me (it probably is...) but I am having a very hard time beating German AI on certain maps (even on easy...). Usually I like to play 4 (2 Brit 2 US) vs 4 (2 WMCT 2 PE)... I'll grab one spot with 3 other AI's. Go against 4 AI's. Quite frankly, it seems like I just get overwhelmed with an enemy spam within 5 to 7 minutes and I just don't have the resources to get enough troops out there... This is early game. If I survive this... (1 out of 3 times) then I am able to turn things around and get em. It happens on maps even with 1v1 or 2v2... maybe I am incompetent or just not aggressive enough... The only exception to this is with maps with chokepoints (Lyon's bridges...) where I can hold my own by funneling the spam into defendable areas.

So is it just me, or is there a German spam or early game strength I am getting kicked by? thoughts...

2)Camapign support might not be a bad option... would it be possible to create a version suited for the campaign?... (and really all you'd probably have to do is allow sappers to be built from the IN truck for that first mission...) I know this is brought up a lot... but figured it wouldn't hurt to throw something in here...

Hey could the galactic conquest AI be reworked a little? Maybe it's just me, but I just can't win. No matter who you play the AI is able to produce higher end units before you can and seems to spam them, like the Empire having 5 AT-AT's against me in the first ground battle...

hey great mod. really good stuff. its one of those mods that is good enough it seems like it came straight out of the box in an expansion pack or something of that nature. high quality

but maybe a suggestion...

could the pop cap be reworked? It seems like the pop cap max is too low. Not enough units and even by the time you unlock higher end units you are already almost close to maxing the cap and almost have to "kill off" units just to get room... could the max be increased? or another suggesstion, instead of some units having a 16 pop cap, could it be based simply off of the number of people? tank=4 or 5 because of crew and sniper team 2? I would think the balance of having proportional value could be weighed out enough in simply making them more expensive... also, an increased pop cap for the campaign might not be too bad either... other than that, I like this mod very much. Only two bugs I see. there is one of those blue error boxes in the campaign cutscenes around the American captain and (yeah this is probably a given) the ToV campaigns don't work (I'm sure your doing something with that).

anyway, thanks for the work you've done so far. really great stuff

but also, im not gonna lie... from a mod consumer stand point, everyones been dying for a HALO mod. including me. and yours is another option. because your mod exists i know im going to download it, simply because i have wanted to control a marathon in space combat for a while and it might come first before HFO. seriously, as a consmuer, the question of legality doesnt really affect me. so honestly, if i see a halo mod, im downloading it. If you want to mod blamtroid, by all means good luck and i hope you make a good mod. But i will say this. honestly, looking at the huge amount of SWEAW mods, the quality ones are always the ones i end up playing the longest.

seriously man, it looks good, but its the only other one youve seen other than H:FO. Dont rush to conclusions that this mod is better because hes quicker to release images than H:FO. Plus, Im not gonnna lie, the models of the CCS is not up to par with H:FO's. But also, the UNSC Marathon and Frigate seem well on their way to becoming units with good models and good skins.

The problem H:FO has is that the didn't have a skinner. Basically, you have some really good modders with H:FO building from scratch and HALO:Covenant at War being created and refined from some already created material, along with the new work of the creator of CAW. I mean, if the creator of Covenant at War asked for the models, which he probably did or is atleast doing now because hes gotten so much flak for it, he isnt doing anything wrong.

But you have to admit, the whole situation is pretty stupid because a very qualified team who has been working their ***** off creating top notch models is being superceded in acclaim by a modder who just borrowed (thought with permission there is nothing wrong with it)some models, threw them in some screen shots, and put them on Moddb.

and honestly, how often does this criticism go against a mod? i mean, this arguement against COW doesnt come from anywhere. People do not just make up accusations this seriously, plus, it is coming from multiple sources.

honestly blamtroid, the way you backed into the corner publically announcing that you didnt do it and changing your banner just because topazfreno called you out using halowars banner shows that you seem to be guilty and regretting something...
