I'm having a problem. I'm trying to install it, and it gets to the end of the installer (in German) and tells me I can't open the file because of .NET framework issues. What the heck does this mean? Any help would be appreciated.

2. Will there be full campaigns, or only skirmish and mini-campaigns?

I have an issue with land battles. When I play "The Stars Align," I can't invade Sullust--the load menu goes into an infinite loop when I click "begin." Any help please?

There is also an error in that my units on Coruscant will disappear and I can't get them back. This should probably be looked into as a concern for the next release.

Also, the issue of Mechis III is one I reiterate.

The lag that results is by far the bigger problem with the fighters. I have a pretty good computer for gaming, and the lag gets to be a be a killer.

Difficulty is one thing, balance is another. If it was just "hard," that I would not comment.

I have some concerns, if I may state them:

1. Trying to capture Mechis III with "Fall of the Jedi" causes a glitch

2. Balance issues:

i) The CIS is a bit over-powered. The Providence's ability to
spawn fighters infinitely causes incredible lag and is a bit
overwhelming. I would suggest, perhaps, allowing a more limited
fighter spawn (like Venators), a reduced fighter spawn (no more
than 10 fighter launches in a skirmish), or replacing the
ability the fighter launch ability with something like Weaken or
Focus Fire.

ii) I would also like to suggest strengthening the Republic units
a bit. It seems a touch in favour of the CIS for most units.

This is a great mod and I do like it, but the lag is bothersome and constantly getting overwhelmed by the CIS no matter what I do is a touch irritating. I just thought to voice my opinion to help you guys out. Any thoughts?

Excellent mod, though I have some ideas (please comment):

-Romulans and Klingons need greater angles of fire. It seems they can only fir straight ahead.

-Ships do not always automatically engage the enemy.

-The ripple from the plasma torpedo is a cool effect, but could be tweaked.

-Make the V2 Warbird the most powerful Romulan ship (only build 3) instead of the V9 (of which you can build 5)

-Make it balanced for Galactic Conquest by removing land battles and making it a planet-capture from space (capture the planet and destroy the other fleets).

A very good mod otherwise. Very nice work. Any thoughts on what I have suggested?

c:/program files/lucasarts. I'm getting frustrated now since I've followed the instructions and nothing changes or happens. I like the mod and nothing like this has happened before with past mods.

Did everything Spino said and it still opens with the original splash screen and original opening.

I did the shortcut, I did all that. Do I need to change the open path in the shortcut to anything different or something? I am starting to really get irritated.

Also, it still says "missing" in skirmish on the faction list where Consortium used to be and there are only three factions. Nothing seems to be working.

Step 1 - Find your FOC folder. and then right click, and select copy, then right click below it (in the same window) and select paste.
Step 2 - Wait for it to paste
Step 3 - Right click on the copied folder and then select "rename" call it what ever u want. I called it GAW
Step 4 - Open the renamed folder
Step 5 - Delete all the fodlers EXCEPT DATA
Step 6 - Open the DATA folder
Step 7 - Delete and files that are not .meg with the exception of MegaFiles.xml
Step 8 - Open the .Rar file.
Step 9 - Extract the contents into the GAW folder. You will be asked to replace things, just click "YES TO ALL" or "REPLACE" or something similar to those
Step 10 - Right click on the SWFOC.EXE and select "send to" "desktop - create shortcut"
Step 11 - Go to the desktop and right click on "Shortcut to - swfoc" and select "rename". Call it "Galaxy At War"
Step 12 - Double click on the new link and it should open...
Did i miss anything?

I extracted the folders into the data folder after erasing the file folders there. Could someone explain it to me in greater detail please? I get the same starting as the original game and no new units are seen and "missing" shows up everywhere.
