Please don't abandon development after 8.5.3, I think this game is so much better than HOI4, even with improvements to HOI4, I don't think it will reach the level of HOI3.

I've had problems with finding generals myself. However there are national archives that you can find online, where many generals are shown. Problem is, you might have to understand the target language.

Could you try to make the mod smaller by deleting unnecessary files that you don't use? For example animations.
