Can't wait to see the demo video, really looking forward to this new release of Misery. Also really looking forward to full release of the Seed too! Many good things coming :)

Very nice work! I've been playing with no mini-map since Misery/CoC and I find that it raises the tension of the game. It also makes you have to be more aware of your surroundings and scout areas out for enemies/friendlies before rushing in.

The extra damage towards mutants is also appreciated, I felt some mutants were a bit too spongy (white burers in forest or the bloodsuckers especially).

I found myself with 2 skill points after getting to 100 Rads Bar, so I guess something is working.
Are you saying not to go too far into the game because the patch won't be save compatible or because I'll be missing out on skill points?

I'm about to be done with Dark Valley, hope I don't have to redo a day's worth of work :/

I have found one bug I haven't seen mentioned yet. When using Vampir nightvision, transitioning to Garbage or quick loading a game in Garbage while in-game causes the game to become unresponsive and simply show a black screen. Have to use task manager to kill the program. However, if you load after cold-booting the game, everything loads properly.

The workaround for the moment is to turn off nightvision when quicksaving or moving levels around Garbage. This may affect other levels too, but so far I have only found this.

All those poor rookies...

My favorite story so far is from the rookie that screamed like a girl while being chased by a midget. Later, while exploring the other side of the railroad tracks I got chased by a karlik in much the same manner. Kind of wanted to keep him alive to terrorize the other rookies XD

I think he may wander the area between Rookie Village and Factory. I know after his quest is complete he will sit in Factory second floor where Sid's second quest objective is located.

He picked me up right outside the bunker after I picked up Sid's second quest, so something may have broken for you.

Light stripes should go away if you disable sun shadows.

Thanks, that helps. I have a GTX 1080/i7-6700k/16GB RAM and have had A LOT of FPS drops. Weird thing is, after sleeping/blowout my frames reset to 60 FPS for a little bit, then something happens in the game world and everything goes back down again. It seems 40-60 FPS with the settings you suggested now, so good enough.

For the skills tab to unlock, you have to use the blue skills USB flash drive in your inventory. I don't know how to gain skill points however :/

I'm looking for help with an FPS issue I have. Is there a guide for what video settings should be on/off for optimal performance? I run a GTX 1080, i7-6700K, and 16GB of memory and find my frames going from 60 down to 25 all the time (using v-sync). I tried turning off v-sync, lowering grass density/distance, using less AA, but nothing seems to work. I do have DX11 turned on, should I go back to 9 or 10.1?

My GPU is AT MOST at 25% utilization, CPU has 2 cores (out of 8 virtual) at most 60% utilization, so I don't think it's hardware related.

Also, I noticed after I sleep or a blowout occurs, everything goes back to 60 FPS. Then, something triggers or spawns in the world and it goes back down to 25. Any help is appreciated.

Yes, you have to have the game at 1.3003 to install the DC content! Also, make sure to install the 1.4001 patch!
