There are other 3 mods still in development to recreate the HL2 beta content, they are excellent but so is this one. It shows: 1-that even the most primitive 3d engine can translate from a concept art almost flawlessly 2-that if you look attentively you can see that the early 2004 source engine looks ridiculously similar to doom/quake engine
This mod alongside RDBR have the potential to be the next black mesa in terms of quality content, although I like this one better because it gives me the vibes of a polished source engine 2004 experience. I hope they will not increase excessively the level of detail like they did with black mesa, that in the end ruined the overall atmosphere
This mod alongside Dark interval have the potential to be the next black mesa in terms of quality content
If you want to play Homeworld this patch is a must have
Beautiful art direction and sound design, and you don't even need HL to run it! Kudos to the dev and how much she achieved in only a few months, can't wait for the next chapter
Brutal, inventive and rich level design
The mastery of wich this game conglomerate all the tropes of every best WWII game to date is really impressive
Beautiful maps and nice gameplay flow
The intricacy and vastness of the levels, the new effects, enemies and weapons and the incredible diversity between each level design, while maintaining the due respect to the original game, makes this mod on par with any official expansion, if not vastly superior
The most complete texture overhaul for Doom 3. The level of detail is outstanding
