DAMN! YOU BROUGHT IN KODIAKS?!?!
DAMN! YOU BROUGHT IN KODIAKS?!?!
Is there a chance we will see a release soon?
Destroy the Vega Dam mission?
Now THAT is the classic example of realism and art, and in a mod??
YEAH THAT'S right Kodiak show those Aliens that the Golden Eagle rules the sky!
Please give it stealth detection, it doesnt have to be indestructible but it makes sense for an advanced air and space craft to have an early warning system for stealth attacks
Hail Carnius for HE AND HE ALONE Brought the stuff we TRUE CNC fans wanted, not EA games!!
I think version 1 would be perfect for Nod
it's hard to tell by the look of it it's a clear aircraft or vehicle pad with twin transmitters perhaps it's either a reinforcement bay or a civilian structure for campaign games.
Oh my god Tiberian Sun has teruned.. retnurner, retimmed... Oh god dammit That's how excited I am!
That is true I just couldn't think of the word for it.
I like version 1 to be honest like to think that GDI still stays on top with VTOL technology while Nod relies on propellers
Reminds me of Firestorm GDI mission 2... I miss those days before Sam Bass touched the writing
With respect to Helge's work and taking up his spare time to do this. Bear in mind that we have seen the pictures and videos, it has been a long patient wait by far and I must confess even I feel that a release even a small one is all my mind can think off. I mean Helge has had set backs from files lost and ideas that he later on figure don't work. but in the end I do feel that if he decided to release the mod today, it will still be a high reward as it would be when he deems it "complete".
It's both! CABAL is it's regular name but it is also an acronym for Computer Assisted Biologically Augmented Life-form!
I hope it's better than those pussy AA batteries EA gave us in the official version. I mean all the other factions have got meaner anti aircraft than GDI's
very realistic size for a building compared to the units on the ground a very excellent piece of art.
Ok it's official the NOD artillery are WAY TOO POWERFUL they just cut through my turrets in just 2 shots alone and even mammoths get decapitated very quickly Tripods hardly stand a chance. Carnius please if nothing else please please please turn down the damage power of those artillery units they are too powerful.
That's rather harsh, the glitch is in the stealth infantry, they can shoot at you without coming out of stealth and you can see them there.
And yes I think there should be more than 1 ground unit that can see stealth units otherwise you'd just be retreating back to something that does have stealth detectors.
I found playing GDI is very unwise as they seem to be weaker than before.
Some of the biggest problems are
1. Nod infantry are shooting at you and you can see them but your units cant kill them until you either force fire them or detect them from stealth.
2. Removing stealth detection from wolverines seems to be a bad idea in my opinion because only the falcons now can detect stealth but they are more of a light tank than a mechanized vehicle.
3. I find the support power to promote vehicles totally useless I'd gladly trade that for another power any time.
4. The EMP tank I think would be useless unless you can get in close without it dying, unless you can increase the range or make a focusing beam.
5. I like the Commando on GDI looks kick *** but one problem is the Ion cannon command nice concept but when you need to get in and blow up buildings fast this charge and targeting time leave you exposed than you would need to be with C$ so could you decrease the time a bit?
6. Could the Orcas have their mini-guns back please? I liked them it made them very useful, I always found GDI air-force very weak against all factions as they always have to go back and reload when the other factions didn't. And they're easier to take down than the venoms and I find that very annoying that the venoms can survive longer than an Orca.
Final bit the Nod artillery pieces and Stealth tanks are over powered in my opinion in their means of attack I mean the artillery can rip through my entire wall of defences in seconds if I dont respond very fast. and if I come across stealth tanks in a tank battle they cannot be spotted unless I have a falcon on the field and those tanks kill off my titans fast than I can fight back and they disappear too quickly too. I dont just play GDI but it is lacking it's former strength.
I hope this helps.
Keep up the good work.
Hello Carnius. I have been following your work for about 2 years now and I must say when I played the entire campaign with your modifications it feels more like a better ending than the EA version. I do feel that they made GDI weaker in this story line and you gave them their old strength again. I was wondering if you would like to go even further... I am writing a screenplay for a campaign storyline for a REAL Command & Conquer 4.. What pieces I could gather from Westwood and Tiberium wars plot that could've folded into a real sequel If I did the FMV's would you like to do the campaigns?
If you just want to hear the pitch first let me know how to contact you properly.
Yeah well even the thought of killing Kane is worth a shot.
that beam is perfect it is fantastic!
WITH JUST A HANDFULL OF MEN.... WE'LL START ALL OVER AGAIN!!!!
whats that structure between the two hands of Nod?
Try and replicate the TS beam because with the TS beam you can attack a target that is behind a row of other objects and coin of phrase "They go through bone like Butter!"

Huge fan of Science Fiction. Bigger fan of Command & Conquer, I've played the franchise for 14 years since Red Alert 1. These days EA had brought the game back from the grave but it is the fans who brought back the heart. They constantly amaze me with Tiberian Apocalypse, Tiberium Essence and now they are going to correct EA's incompetence with Tiberian Eclipse.
