Not sure on the firing FX yet. Keep the shockwave from TW, try to replicate TS' beam, or use a projectile that looks like the TS beam?

I think we need a comparison so we can vote on which to keep but either way, you will probably amaze us.

The shockwave was quite nice after all. So I suggest you use it. (Not a reply, just a regular post)

i belive you should have somthing thats like the TS beam but have it like the one in the cut scene when the banshees are goung to land in that secret base as that looks epic and would suit it well

I'm definitely feeling that the beam should be similar to the one used in the Tiberium Sun Rising mod. It most closely resembles the Disrupter beam from the TS concept art.

The Tiberium Sum.

I like the beam spamming the whole length of the sonic emitter.

Try and replicate the TS beam because with the TS beam you can attack a target that is behind a row of other objects and coin of phrase "They go through bone like Butter!"

did you use the main chassis from the sensor array for the disrupter because they look almost indentical anyway nice job and we have to see both projectile and shockwave from tw to see whats better before we can vote but I beleave the shockwave looks better if it doesnt go over the ground but just mid air like a normal projectile if you know what i mean.

Almost. I used as modified disruptor chassis for the MSA. I didn't unwrap the original one, so I used a once again modified MSA chassis for the disruptor :P

Hey, how about a beam with and additional pulse flying through it?
Say...two, three seconds of beam time, then a burst fires and cuts off a second or two after the pulse reaches the end.

Of course, I'd prefer the TS beam over the TW pulse.

I never played TS, so I say it should be a beam, but have it look like the TW shockwave effect. Oh, hey! Taxikiller had the same idea!

You know what might have been cool... if the TW emmiter had fired a weak wave effect instead of a concentrated line, that way it would slaughter infantry in a large area.

Perhaps you could hybridize the two? A TW sonic blast that waves like the TS projectile, perhaps?

Make a TS-like projectile, from scratch.
Also, do you still have the older Disruptor model? You know, the one that hovers? I'd like to have it if possible, then...I don't think I will release it to public, though.
