It runs better than your standard stalker. It also can look better. So if you can play s.t.a.l.k.e.r no problems I would not worry.

We had to rework the engine to support multiplayer. Server testing still underway.

If it's going to be available its going to be without the server tools. I would like to see what people are capable of with our engine. It is much better than standard X-ray.

RoH engine is heavily modified X-Ray.

To each to their own, I personally have same kind of taste as you. But I also like minimalist look for the hud.

It's not like the team is using their free time and work on the side, one thing I agree is on that there should be more open ended community management on western side. Heck, you can stick on discord and see whats going on weekly. Large updates get their release on other platforms like ModDB and Patreon.

You got things to wait, like S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 and RoH. Cyberpunk and other awesome games in the horizon. Just use your time how you see best, but whining like a limping pseudodog wont get you anywhere.

English Changelog has been added for the RoH Discord server.
This allows you guys to see small daily/weekly work that has been done for the game and engine.

Big updates will still be posted on FB and ModDB.

Once game is finished we gotta have meeting within the team about public use of the engine and SDK. Some say nay some say yay. Right now it's all about this task at hand.

It jams when player is drunk enough. Also you might hurt yourself with it. Also NPC's tend to say "I used to be a stalker like you, until I hit my self with an axe to the knee"
