The "Ray of Hope" modification is the dream of the most in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.'s community, it's like the name says. This mod gives you the possibility of surviving in the zone with your team-mates, with not only NPC, but also other players.
Interactive Food and first person animations.
Great animations. Very immersive, but not too long they become tedious.
I'd love to hear the can hit the ground depending on the surface and a respective world model.
Cheers
Awesome just Awesome <3
damn, this looks amazing
edit: it would be extra nice if you added a sound when the player throws out the can or the bottle to the ground depending on surface (almost no sound when thrown on grass, glass breaking when hitting concrete etc.)
I wouldn't be surprised if they do at some point.
This looks like beta texturing and shading stage (meaning items haven't been given their final specular and 'grunge' passes), but I think the point here is to show off the animations more than the texture work.
These animations look really good. Well done.
What kind of black magic did you perform on X-Ray to even get to this point?
I'd say this isn't X-Ray anymore, but I really don't know
Edit: it is actually X-Ray. Unbelievable.
RoH engine is heavily modified X-Ray.
Yup, just heavily modded and 64 bit if I recall correctly. :)
edit: Heh, too slow :)
amzing attention to detail. and now i'm hungry :D
I second this!
I'm sure I'm gonna get a f-ton of downvotes, but if that sleek and modern UI / inventory design is something that is going to be in the finished game I'll be hugely disappointed.
Such a generic PUBG / DayZ / Tarkov style travesty that ruins the whole image of rusty and grimy immersion of the STALKER universe. It's all conveyor belt stuff these days. It's the small things that make the game so atmospheric. I know this is a product of someone's hard work, but to me it's just pure blasphemy. If the designer(s) are long-time fans of the game, I'm hoping they will get their Zone veteran eyes open.
Someone had to say it.
To each to their own, I personally have same kind of taste as you. But I also like minimalist look for the hud.
I know, and I do respect the dev's views.
But given how many hours you'll end up staring at the HUD and inventory, it will have a subconscious impact on the player's experience. Whether it's a "lore-friendly" or too alien experience I'll leave that to the consumers. This is just my opinion.
I like the rusted worn-out look too, but honestly I don't pay that much attention to it when I'm in a game.
As long as it's functional, fast and not too tedious to use (the early DayZ inventory was horrible, for example), I'm sure I'll get used to the cleaner, simpler look.
"Hey Stalker! Are you gonna pick up that trash, or are you just going to sh*t up the whole Zone with your litter?!" >:[
But seriously, those are some sweet animations. :D
I'm happy to see that you kept them short, too. A lot of mods make the mistake of having animations that get tedious after the first few times you see them in action.
Super great!
Brilliant
Yes! No more empty screen shaking when doing anything in-game, take that Misery!
Watching the film of Stalker and the overall environmental message of SoC, could we toggle whether or not we toss our garbage? Having an empty bottle on you can come in handy when trying to gather foreign liquids or maybe even pooled water at an extreme stretch.
Ай хорошечно.
woah
and how well is the engine optimized? It is very demanding
i want play this but my pc its a potatoe ):
