Personally, I'd like it by type and then in the respective folders by Era. Thus, if I'm looking for ships, I can check by that and then against Era for what I'm hoping I'd find.

I don't want to seem ungrateful for the work done here; but, is there not a mega size pack we could download instead? Downloading each individual assets is a bit...tiresome.... Maybe I've just been missing it.

Still, great assets and mod!!

I get a 500 error when trying to download this... I wish I had made a backup of this mod when I had the chance. XD

Edit: Weird..it fixed itself after 6ish retries...?

Oh, OK. =P By the way, would you guys take bug fixes if submitted? Is there a way to submit patches to the team for review? I'll look into the languages used within the file and see if I can get more stuff to launch without file removal process. I must mention that I'm busy so don't know if I will be able to figure anything out but would like to help if I've got some free time.

Cool! As for the file types, I should have been clearer. What is the code that is written in them? Is it Lua, Python(highly dobt it), Ruby, etc.

I did some testing and saw that by 7ziping the file rather than raring it it saved 2.1GB in space. This would make for faster downloads and lower bandwidth usage. Have the devs considered using 7zip compression?

Fare point. Just to confirm, with the link you posted would it be OK to post my info there? One last thing, what code are the .ext written in, Lua?

I didn't just get it to start. It played fine on most maps I've tried. Sure some things didn't work but it's better than nothing.
I understand not wanting to support a buggy mod but for those who only have AS1 it gives them something to play until you can push an official AS1 version. Anyone using the steps I've implimented should know this is a work arround and doesn't reflect the teams work. Also, I'm sure it will take you guys a long time befor you can get an AS1 version. By then, the number of people forgetting about the mod coming out to AS1 will or might grow. At which point the team might just stick with AS2. This could add excitement and generate a fire under the tushes of the team to get an offical version for AS1 out sooner than latter. Ahhh well. I will no longer add comments about the workarround.
Thank you for bearing with an avid fan of this superb mod!
