Is there any chance we can get an expansion of the regional recruitment seen with Lordaeron? I'd love if, for example, playing as Stormwind, we can reclaim Lordaeron and Quel'thalas from the Scourge and recruit their units after liberating the regions. Little things like that for people who are into roleplaying this kind of stuff.

That's the thing though. Steam updated all copies of Medieval2 to the Definitive edition. The definitive edition got rid of the kingdoms.exe and uses the medieval2.exe exclusively. I'm saying the install instructions need to be updated because *all* steam copies of Medieval 2 total war no longer have a kingdoms.exe by default.

So, kinda funny bug... I used the third age.bat to launch the mod... and it launched total annihilation Kingdoms instead. Clean install and everything.

I'm not asking for help or anything, I just thought it was funny.

Edit: The definitive edition removed the kingdoms.exe entirely. The third age.bat seems to have simply picked the first kingdoms.exe it found as a result. Install instructions for the mod should be updated to inform users that they need to change the third age.bat to use the medieval2.exe instead.

I'm aware of that, I'm just mentioning that crewed cargo ships such as the tyche-class were the least common as of Contact Harvest. They exist and were used for sure, but most were completely automated to save money.

Maybe they became more common during the human-covenant war, I certainly am not the most knowledgeable about Halo lore, my only thought was that perhaps the Tyche-class is not the most lore-accurate ship to use for the UNSC's trade ship. A shame that the Sins engine only allows for one model of trade ship for an entire faction, but it is what it is.

I just wanted to mention something regarding the UNSC tradeships

Contact Harvest mentions that the vast majority of UNSC cargo ships are automated. Very few have any human crew, and are usually small, independent contractors. In most cases, cargo ships are basically a bunch of shipping containers strapped to a slipspace drive. In fact, the slipspace drive is the only part of the ship that actually has a hull around it, everything else is exposed to the void: fuel lines, the reactor, the cargo itself, some cargo won't even be in a container, just strapped on. Even the ship's computers only get a thin radiation shield around them.

The model currently used by the mod is a passenger ship, and if I recall correctly, its a model of luxury cruise ship that often got repurposed as evacuation ships.

Let's be fair to DICE, certain situations had Stormtroopers using personnel shields. They didn't use them often because Stormtroopers could kick plenty of *** without them, they were expensive, and recharging them took forever. All DICE is really doing in regards to personnel shields is using them way more than the Empire would ever do.
