I like that New characters from 2R are added to the game, but I don't like that I have to choose how many guns I have and the amount of each monster type. It feels like playing an arranged mod, not a random mod.

I love rando so, I hope there's an option to keep the setting like the previous versions.

1/ Key items on MrX body in B scenario
This happened to me a few times, in room 602. That room doesn't have any item, except when you kill Mr X and search his body. But killing MrX is optional and if you run away from him he will be gone and there's no way to get the item. I think key items should never be on his body.

2/ Personal request: When I trigger the self destruct system, the escape theme will be played whenever Im in a room in the lab. It's a very exciting music theme, but in rando mod it is replaced by some boring soundtrack. So I hope the rando would always select some blood-pumping soundtracks to replace the escape theme, for example the escape themes from RE2R, Hunk theme...

Room 305 when the enemies are moths they will cause game crash. This happens for a long time and no fixing so far. :(

But hey, the character you call "Regina" it's not really her. It's just Jill cosplaying Regina from RE3. :))))
I really love Regina, so it would be great if one day you can actually bring her model from Dino crisis into the mod. :D

they are unkillable because they technically "don't" enter the room yet. You go through the entire hallway and exit it, then re-enter the hallway and now the zombies will be put in the hallway and you can kill them.

PLEASE REMOVE ROOM 11B STREET2 FROM THE MAP, WE DON'T NEED THAT ROOM.

That room has like 6 enemies there with 0 items. And when it's filled with aggro dogs, you can't dodge or shoot or do anything, because you will be surrounded by them and get attacked from all angle. Even 6 dogs in the RPD locker room I can handle them. But this room it gives nothing valuable for the players. It only has two doors so getting rid of it won't create any problem.

Can you make it that after finishing each segment we will get a new weapon?
I play max setting with max segment size, now I play as Leon B and only find shotgun. But all the ammo I have are from Bowgun Magnum, Flamethrower. I check the log and see that all those weapons appear in the last segment where players no longer need them if they are able to survive that long.
This is the reason why I always put ammo average quantity to max. Cuz it still looks like hell since all the ammo I found is for weapons I don't have until the end of the game where I no longer need them. I would trade all those useless ammo for handgun ammo anyday.

When I enter Parking lot - Room 216 as Leon B, Ada cutscene would happen but, there are two lickers there. They will kill me in the cutscene. Pls fix this.

Can you make the dogs NOT being aggro all the time? Like what make them all aggro in the first place??
99% of the time they are super aggro from the start. You open the door and a bunch of dogs already jump on you. In a large area when dogs can jump on you from all directions you can't win. You keep getting stunlock until you're dead.
But why they're all aggro like that? Open a door and get a free hit from a bunch of dogs!
Pls fix this. And no, I'm not gonna cheat because the mod makes the game become super unfair. I just dont understand why this always happens. When there's like only 1 or 2 dogs in the room, they wont go aggro. but somehoe 95% of the times when 5 or more dogs are there they all go full aggro the moment you enter the room. I just dont get it. Can you fix it??

Mr.X caused game crash in my run again. :(
In short, this is how the bugs work:
- Solving the puzzle in room 20D will make the game crash when I enter room 20c.
- Solving the puzzle in room 108 will make the game crash when I enter room 109.

Pls tell me you already know how to fix this. :(

Report: R421-AL12-ZJZE0QZKKB1, Scenerio B with Leon
YES, ANOTHER SEED IN WHICH MR.X'S EVENTS RUIN EVERYTHING

So once again, I meet a seed in which I have to put out the fire on the helicopter early on in order to make progress, which ultimately blocks my access to room 109 and 20c. Luckily I was still able to finish the B run, but I need to use debug menu and read the seed log to avoid entering those room and jump into rooms that those rooms connected to.

Here's my solution: make sure in scenerio B we will always enter room 109 and 20c before we gain access to the helicopter area (room 108 I believe) in a seperated segment. That way once we reach the helicopter we will never have to go through 109 and 20c again.

Also I think there's some feature missing with the new biorand.exe.
Back then when I close biorand and re-open it, all the settings I adjusted last time was still there.
Now, if I close the app and open it again, everything is set back to default, with a new seed too. And thus I have to adjust everything again.
Back then when I finish a seed, I just need to open biorand and chose a new seed. All other settings I make before are kept, and I don't have to adjust anything except the seeds.
So I hope you would add that feature back again in the new update.

I'm pretty sure most of the bugs I faced on B scenario are created by Mr.X cutscenes.
I used to ask you to check out the bug with Sherry in lab elevator remember? I enter the elevator but sherry was there with me and it forces me to always use masterkey to go to the train section (which isn't accessible in rando) thus creates a soft lock. Now I know what triggered that bug. If you enter the power room in which Mr.X tries to attack Sherry and gets fall into the lava pool, that cutscene will trigger sherry event and she's always be with you when you enter the lab elevator.
Now the cause of problems are found, I hope you can fix it ASAP. Thanks.

OK so you DON"T fix the tyrant bug yet, and once again I ran into a seed in which I enter rooms that would require me to do some puzzles that would trigger Mr X cutscenes, which will result in him destroying some rooms and make those rooms unaccessible.
Luckily I know something like this would likely happen so I saved before I touched those puzzles. After putting out the fire on the helicopter, my game crashed when I tried to enter room 109. I then reloaded my save, skipped all the puzzles that would trigger those cutscene (puzzles with lighter and the valve) and guess what, I can finally enter that curse room. That's the only way I can move forward without being crashed and stuck forever.
Also this is the most unfair seed I've ever seen in my life. Have to go through like 20 dogs in narrow hallways without finding any bullet.
Pls fix the existing bugs first before trying with new ideas.

I have a few suggestion to make the rando more enjoyable:
1/ Make sure the music in save room is a random save room theme from a re game.
2/ Make sure the music played in boss fight always be a random epic boss battle theme from a re game.

I would prefer them to do the bug fix first. I love this rando so I played with it alot. playing through many seeds help me see that there are still a lot of bugs need to get fixed. :D

I don't think it can be fixed, cuz entering the library through different doors can cause the triggered cutscene to work in a wrong way.
So my advice is dont walk down the stair in that situation cuz the cutscene would always happen when you enter the library in b scenario.

The bug with the manhole I mentioned before still not fixed.
Also in this seed as Claire B, I can't enter room 20c. Can't use debug menu to jump to it either. I believe it's the long hallway in which you can use the club key and diamond key to open 2 doors. My guess is that because I have enter the room in that hallway where you can open by using the club key to get the gear in the previous segment and triggered Mr X's appearance in that room, but I ran out and left him there in a room which is supposed to be still locked and he was supposed to have a "burst through wall" cutscene when I'm on my way out in that hallway. I believe that's the reason for the bug.

UPDATE:
Now I'm 100% sure that the tyrant's script events caused a lot of bugs in my seed. I got around the bug room I mention above but that's not all. Room 109 also crashed, and the reason is simple: that's the hallway with crows in the original game. But in scenario B, after u use the valve to put out the fire on the helicopter Mr.X will appear and once you re-enter room 109 the door lead to rooftop will be blocked by a cutscene.
But in this rando I have to put out the fire using the valve first before I ever step foot in room 109. This location appears later on and won't be functioning normally because of said event with Mr X.
To be honest, I always question myself about this room 109. I know once I use my valve to put out a fire that room will have a big change (a part of it will get destroyed, and all enemies will be replaced by Mr.X) so I wonder if I ever enter that room AFTER putting out the fire, what would happen? Well it seems I have my answer: it results in game crash. But in previous randos for B scenario I was "lucky" when I never got into this situation, cuz I always have to go into room 109 first, and never have to get back to it once I put out the fire on the rooftop.
So in short, crash will happen in this rando if you enter rooms which are destroyed by Mr.X in script event.

And here's another bug that also exist for a long time without being fixed: enemies respawn in room 219, usually in scenario B, with Claire I believe. Cuz when you play as Leon that corridor has 0 enemies.

Anyway once again I could never finish a B scenario due to bugs. This room 109 is crucial in this seed cuz it leads directly to room 700.

One more thing: sometimes I fight 3 bosses, sometimes I only fight 2. I always set the size of segments to maximum in my runs, so actually I expect to always fight all the bosses that I'm supposed to fight for each scenario. I notice that in B run sometimes the seeds skips the first birkin boss fight.
So I hope that once I set the size of segments to maximum I would guarantee to fight all the bosses and don't skip anyone.

Also I felt like a colt would be a great weapon at the start for any character. The reason is you can easily run into a tiny room or small hallways filled with 6-8 dogs in the early stage. I can finish segment 1 and 2 without any advanced weapons, but I think we still need a solution for unfair situations like the above and a colt is a fair solution.
I ran into that tiny police locker room filled with 7-8 aggro dogs in the early stage and I survived thanks to the colt. The room has a key item required to process to the next sections and that's why I have no choice but to clear all the dogs to get that item.

I know. I check the log to find out where I'm supposed to find it. But I searched that room, only found handgun bullets. Weapon lockers in that room have only a blue herb but the key to the locker can only be obtainable after I use the crank on the clock tower.
There's one other place in that room that can get an item from and it's from the vaccine making machine but as Leon you can't get an item from it.

I mean I would love to keep using 1 RE2 folder created for just all biorand updates. Rightnow everytime there's an update for the mod I would delete the old RE2 folder I used for previous biorand update and make new one.

highest setting is a must, since i can get into a situation in which I have to fight two bosses at hard difficulty with only hand gun in my inventory. Also since there are many weapons in the game, picking up their ammo when you don't find them yet also mean you don't pick up any ammo.
That's why I set up max ammo drop. I always have a lot of ammo to spare in end game, but at the beginning it's literally nightmare.
But more weapons for leon is fine, because I can freely swap him with a female character from now on since she can use claire's weapons which I can find playing as Leon.

1 more question: Do I have to always use a fresh vanilla re2 folder everytime this mod has an update? This mod has a lot of updates recently, but it's a little bit annoying if I always have to use a fresh new re2 folder for each update.

I tried to play as Kendo on Leon B, and I notice a few bugs:
- I suddenly got a lot of weapons for his runs that aren't supposed to be there for leon. Actually all Claire's weapon were there: bow, grenade launcher, colt. I dont know if this is actually a new feature, but it does make my run a whole lot easier than it should in the 3rd and 4th segments of the rando.
- The key item "crank" wasn't in the room it was supposed to be. I couldn't process without it so I have to make one with debug menu.
- Bug with Ada/Leon cutscenes in the garage: two lickers were there for some reason when Leon only had his handgun. I can't kill them but can't move pass them either cuz it will trigger the cutscene with ada and that cutscene will make the lickers go aggro and attack Leon while he's still in the cutscene which will result in his inevitable death.
- Manhole loophole issue: I always have to save my game everytime I try to go through the manhole cuz it can trap you by teleporting you to the previous segment section which could cause a soft lock. I think it happened on my claire A's run. I mean this bug has happened many times. How does it happen? You enter the manhole and it doesn't teleport you to a new random place, it sends you to the small sewer passage like in the original, but when you try to go back the mod will teleport you to a random place.

If I have any request for your mod, I just hope that you can give the female characters in this game the ability to use the male's weapon like shotgun and magnum. I want to switch to a female character in my Leon's run but she wont be able to use any male characters weapons cuz it would cause the game to crash.

But anyway I was able to finish the scenario B this time so I'm very happy. other bugs I can fix using debug menu so it's not a big deal.

I hope I can enjoy the rando this time.
I just test a new rando with smallest size possible, and play on easy. I beat Claire A in 15 mins. Then play Leon B and quickly find my way to the door that lead to the final boss section and... the bug happens, again. This happened with ver 1.3.3
So I kinda believe it wasn't me who caused those bugs. I did use the classic rebirth mod for my sourcenext version of RE2 but that's it. I use no other tools.
I would definitely test to see if I could reach the final end in scenerio B before putting the difficulty settings to max level. I really enjoy ur rando that's why I play on hardmode and use biggest segment size possible. But everytime I couldnt finish scenerio B due to game crash I felt really frustrated. Cuz it's really hard to get to the end of the game on hard mode.

I tested R321-EE0X-V1ZE1QZ using a fresh copy of sourcenext. I skip the powerroom cutscene. But it seems nothing change. I check the rando log. It leads me to that room 700 again in the end and there's nothing more after that. In game when I open the door that leads to that final area it always crashes.
2 seeds in a row and the same thing happens.
Also the game crashes in Ada/Sherry solo section if the moths are spawned in that room. I figured out the way to prevent it: you would have to quickly run pass them then enter 1 of the other 2 doors then go back, it would make the bugs disappear.
There's also another bug: if you shoot the magnum on zombie brad the game crashes. I dont know why. I can still headshot him using shotgun, but shooting him with magnum will make the game crash.

This time I crash with Leon B, and once again when I'm about to enter room 700 I crash. My rando log says this: Connected 21A:2 [ManholeOpener] to 700:5 (locked #157). I play on hard mode so I use debug menu. I don't know if it was the debug menu that caused the crash. I also did trigger the Tyrant/Lava pool scene in this scenario and have no idea if this were the reason.
I hope you can quickly help me test these seeds. Cuz I really love playing this rando mod. Please tell me if you could find any reasons for my crash. Thanks in advance.
