Fair enough on the Lagrangian satellite, I hadn't crunched the numbers and I'd forgotten it was a ten second beam with AoE.

As for Atlantis, I definitely think you should keep the group shield, I wasn't suggesting dropping it, but if we're tihnking of it like the Ankylon which is more support/defence than combat, drone swarm or colonies could be swapped for something else like, or, a repair ability, or a boost antimatter buff to nearby ships. Just a thought.

I can understand the Lagrangian beam not one-shotting Hives, but they do need a bit more oomph, at present I don't think they'd even kill a cruiser.

As for Atlantis, if it's not meant as a combat titan perhaps you could replace the drone swarm ability with another support ability? Something that helps nearby ships, like a boost to accuracy or range or shield regen or something.

I played the original version of this for Entrenchment and loved it them, it's gotten better now especially with the new ship models. My only complaint is that Atlantis should probably have more than just drone launchers, or they should be able to hit more targets at once. Also, the drone swarm ability really should have a longer range and/or damage.

The Lagrangian point satellite weapon seems weak as well, given we see it cut Hive Ships in two on-screen.

I should also add that I've tested this with other mods (to make sure it's not a game install/computer problem) and it's only showing up under the E4X mod and minimods

Something is off with this mod, I've tried five games so far and all but 4 of them develop really bad lag and freeze completely about 20 minutes in, even on lowest effects settings and tiny maps.

For reference, I'm using the base E4X mod, the Deathmatch mdoe, expanded research, faster combat, infinite research, max starbase upgrades, more tactical slots and non-Vasaari phase gate minimods.

Ok, first off I love the models, they're just gorgeous. My main conern is with those Kindjal nuclear bombers, they are a real game-breaker for me. I had three Marathons, a Talos and a Halcyon facing off against an enemy fleet, and they just spammed nuke bombers at me and boom, my battle line is dead.
