Aside from playability which most mods focus on, the Science Mod --as its name said, made more surprising breakthroughs on the technique of making mods and discovered more potent of this game's engine. Like improved user interface and additional music to switch. It benefits the modding community till today, scientifically.
After all these years of improvements, this mod has finally become a masterpiece, both on visual arts and gameplay mechanics. Totally remade UI interfaces is the most eye-catching spot for me.
