I'm getting the same problem with the forums, and so is a friend of mine. Looks like the host is messed up.
I'd guess the Northern hemisphere. I doubt it'd take us 6 months to release the beta.
If it's good enough, we can release it in map packs included in updates. These packs will be the best fan-made maps that we've chosen.
Funny... I was reminded of the Myst IV theme when listening to this.
We dropped it ages ago. We have to make sure we're legal.
I noticed it on the sniper rifle, too. We've still got some animation tweaking to do before release, so I'm sure it'll be fixed.
We've got the proper crosshairs, they're just not in the game yet.
The game likely won't have the gore when it's released.
I just checked the size of the game folder without the art source(files we use to make the stuff before it gets Quake-ified) and it's around 50mb. That's without an engine, though. But it shouldn't be much bigger.
I don't think it's decided whether gibs will be in the game. If they are, we'll have to change them to actually look like chunks of Spartan, not the main guy from Quake. :P
Right now it's 253mb, but there are various things in there that won't be in the released game. We use a system which basically lets us share a folder, update it easily, etc.. We share source files(.psd's for example, the Photoshop format) so that the other members can easily go and modify our stuff. I'm not sure how big it'll be at release. Not too long ago it was 50mb.

The shoulders. The new one is closer to the original, and has my texture. I'm just waiting for my modified UV map to get put onto the model.
It says right in the video that nothing is final, in fact most of it will be changed. I thought the untextured weapons would make this even more obvious?
As just about everything says, nothing is final. Especially the sprites.
We're using Quake(as you know), so no bump- or parallax-mapping. I think there might be a PSP game or two with the former, but I'm not sure.

Well, just because we had a huge spree of updates, doesn't mean we have to keep it going. There's an update scheduled soon, but we don't have an exact date.
Nope. It's a free game, we make everything ourselves, and there's some Microsoft thing that lets us copy their stuff legally as long as we don't make money from it.

Look out for a list of included maps as we get closer to the beta release. Seriously, it's more than a month away, we don't know which maps we'll have.
Hmm, that's probably because they're trying to direct to mods/solitude instead of games/solitude.
That would be making money off a franchise we didn't create. Which is against copyright.
