Not a team member, but I just copied everything into my C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption location, merged the folders with what were already there, then clicked 'PlayCaW' and it worked fine.

I guess I should have specified the manual part is what I don't like. Makes it so the AI spawns millions while it's a huge pain in the butt for me to keep up at all.

Because it's the starting colony capital so it has to be weaker at low levels. With Rebellion it will be moved to the Titan spot and won't have that problem anymore.

Sorry for taking a while to write anything, but I appreciate the feedback. Currently, the Goauld and Asgard have barely had a first pass on their balance so expect things to change.

And you're correct that the AI doesn't understand how to research. In fact, it's terrible overall imo, nearly unmoddable, and makes balancing a total conversion with very differently gameplay a nightmare.

The Wraith are waiting on an AoE antimatter draining ability, among other abilities of course, so they can combat things like beam weapons. 3 of the 4 other races will have a high damage ability(such as beam weapons or drone frenzy) that is available on a couple non-cap ships and the Wraith won't have a direct analog. They'll have to fight this through their cheap/fast production and good use of abilities that can negate the high firepower.

Thanks for the feedback, Obrusnine. Can't speak for everyone else, but I always appreciate constructive criticism.

Something to keep in mind though, as a total conversion the mod will play quite differently then the original game. That's not to say some of your criticisms don't have merit, just that there is a difference in vision I believe.

The only known method of creating animated models is using custom particle effects. There is one mod that attempted it - I believe it was a Babylon 5 mod, but don't quote me - but I believe the conclusion was that it's too CPU intensive in a game which already lags in the lategame.

Sins doesn't have a campaign. You can only play FFA and locked or unlocked teams.

The Asgard used the Wraith as a template and we haven't done much for them yet besides add a few models(they're all cap ships I believe) just so you guys can see them. I understand that might be confusing though since they don't have the proper strings yet. In the next release they will be a little more fleshed out, but the primary focus is still on the Pegasus side of things.

Withholding your vote isn't going to make any of those features appear faster, and I guarantee they won't be ready for the next release. If the mod is already awesome and you like it, then vote for us. You may have not meant it like this, but it basically seems like you're holding your vote over our heads like a carrot to a horse.

This is being changed in the next release. They will only be constructed 1 at a time, and if I get my way they will no longer bombard planets, only provide defense.

The line for changing the number constructed is in the planetmodule file. It's the 'spawncount' line. And to change the range you need to change the ability file, not the planetmodule file, since it's coded as an ability and not a weapon.

And yea, I'm pretty sure file changes to get applied to saved games.

Yes, you can save as .entity with no problems and putting .entity at the end is all you have to do to create them.

The only possible issue is stock sins compresses the files so they can't be opened as a text file. If you want to open/change those files there's a converter program you need to use, but all the files in the mod should have already been converted or were custom to begin with.

Sorry, but the mod was not released for that version of entrenchment.

I assume by linking to that thread you're saying you're worried you won't be able to play it if you update to play ours. If you didn't know, there is an archive function in Impulse that allows you to restore that version of the game after you've updated to the latest patch. At least there was before Gamestop got a hold of it.
