1. That's alright, i will simply revert certain planet textures and values back to vanilla, but i might see if i can mix his cloud textures with the vanilla planets as they are beautifully done.

2. It is indeed the skyboxes, apparently however its not just the textures themselves but the skybox mesh files. I changed the star files to use the vanilla skybox meshes and the lighting and shadow rendering went back to vanilla values. However it seems to be broke on planets and asteroids, they are now illuminated without shadows, while the ships and modules remain nomral. Looks like i might have to edit the planet files as well. I like the mods skybox textures but i like vanilla's hard light and shadow values. Ill try playing around with the files some more.

Thank you for your answers, i was always wondering what all the axeldude files were supposed to be, you've been a great help. No offence to the infinate space mod at all of course.

I haven't played vanilla in forever so i decided to test the new DLC features and i noticed a few things that are odd when compared to E4X.

1. How come the planets in this mod don't have any dark side lights like vanilla? Is that a bug.

2.The vanilla deepspace skybox seems to be far more space like and dark, actually making things not exposed to the sun direction very shadowed and obscured. Rather than everything being toned blue in the mod version. Of course this is just preference and can easily be edited.

3. It seems the planet sounds only play at much closer distances in the mod, most noticeably the space elevators. Either this was simply edited or is a bug from the update.

Just a few observations when going back to vanilla, not trying to complain. Your mod is one of the best, and is all the more appreciated for expanding upon the vanilla game.

Thank you for the explanation and the file. If the .dll files are all but gone then ill try and see if editing the .mesh files through notepad works. Thank you for creating and maintaining this mod, i know it must be alot work.

Hope you don't mind me asking this question, but I want to increase the size of the Empire and Rebel corvette's, however i don't want to have to edit all the numerals in the .mesh files. Is there a mesh resizer application of the sorts, i tried looking on forums and other mod sites but the links are either broken or the website is no longer valid.

Unable to locate an official installation of SupCom2. I have it in my steam library in my (D:) drive. The 7za.exe doesnt do anything at all as far as im aware. And converting the RVE.zip into a .scd file doesnt work because its missing a configuration file.

hey revamp, how do you change the scaling of the units, i found the file "EffectScale.Lua" but it has no effect when i change it. or am i changing the wrong file?

hey when using the Alt-2 function for unit spawn command, i noticed that i can spawn a number of custom units from the campaign like warehouses and facility's. i want to be able to spawn cybran warehouses but its not in the list. is there a way i can add the cybran warehouses to be spawn-able with Alt-2.

hey, whenever i use the Mod Manager, an error message comes up saying

"An exception that cannot be handled has arisen in your application program. If you click continue this problem will be ignored. If you click Exit the application program will be immediately shut down."

i dont think it works. if you can fix this or update it it would be much appreciated. me and my friends love your work so far, and you make this game so much better. thank you.
