My love for FPS genre started when i played wolfenstein 3d on my first 386 computer back in the day. Later i became interested in games technology and 3d graphics. I learned C/C++ for making games. I was educated at sydney university in australia in mathematics, physics and computer science, majoring in computer science. Now i have a career in coding C/C++ in embedded systems industry. I still love to work on games in my spare time although it is a very time consuming and demanding hobby. Wolfenstein 3d is simple and easy to mod. Team raycast gave me the opportunity to work on real mods with new art, new sound, new maps, new music, and so on. I was and still am very grateful for this opportunity and we all enjoy being successful and great at what we do. I have been doing this for a few years now and i hope i will continue doing great things here. I hope to one day make games for a living working from home.

Feel free to make changes to this if it almost meets your expectations. Im happy with how this all hangs together as far as textures go.

I have not noticed this issue before. Could you try enabling compatibility mode when running this particular program to see if it helps at all? Thanks.

If it helps there is a minimap available. Press M key to activate it.

Did you try to shoot through the "wall" to kill the enemy? Its actually a red curtain so there's your first clue.

Try to use your head a bit while playing the mod. ;)

If you don't like it, don't play it. That is the best advice I can give you. :D

We are not using any existing tutorial for this. We designed a custom solution for Batman lighting. We hope you like it.

Sure. Many algorithms were tested and found to be unacceptable performance-wise. We have two different advanced shading algorithms in development.

Ask DoomJedi (aka StarWolf) for permission to join Team RayCAST and start a new project called "Wolf4SDL with OpenGL Support". I can collaborate with you there. I run all of my Wolf3D related projects through that site.

I have an opengl fork of wolf4sdl somewhere. The split wolf sources are available if you are interested. Do you need help with anything in particular?
