Mod packs get a lot of hate and for good reason. However I like what you did here and this would be great for a first time player of Anomaly that wants basic QoL and enhancement addons, but feel intimidated by this new world they discovered that is Stalker modding scene.

Of course MO2 and GAMMA are the superior option to mod your game, but this has its place and would make for a good starting point for newcomers.

This would be perfect if you could somehow make artefact quests compatible,
That sounds difficult but maybe you could replace them with a more generic quest like "Find me an artefact with thermal resistance." or just have the artefact's icon correspond to its vanilla equivalent. Not sure if possible, just ideas. I look forward to using this on my next playthrough.

10/10 texture changes , but for some reason they all look really grainy when walking and looking around almost as if anti-aliasing isnt applying to them or something, especially the lighter colored bushes and trees. looks 10/10 up close and when not moving though. Idk what the issue is.

If you are asked to do quests asking to investigate a helicopter crash or retrieve documents from a lab in Pripyat Outskirts, you know you're getting close to the end.

The way the main questline works is you will get like 1 to 5 random quests that are filler/side-quests then a milestone quest that progresses you in the main questline. Also the reason why someone tells you to talk to person X and he then sends you to person Y, is because there is a daily (or weekly?) limit of how many quests you can do in the main questline so you cant blow through it all unnaturally fast.

Traders dont carry them all the time, you may have to reload a few times or just come back later. I think some traders like Barman don't carry them at all..
As for the engine question, CoTZ is already pretty smooth and stable even when heavily modded, I recall DrX say upgrading to 64 would just introduce more bugs for little to no gain.

Calibration tools are found in quests from Technicians (there is a waiting period before you get another quest from them).. Svarog detectors can be gotten as a quest from the Ecologists and if your lucky you can find them in a stash. There are probably other ways but those 2 ways are how I've always got them.

The 'Manual for Item 62' room (only accessible through the elevator shaft) is the same room as 'The Office'.. The other room it could be in is like he said: Lowest basement area with 3 parallel hallways joined by another hallway with tables and monitors, the area is only accessible by ladder, it does contain that one ladder with a hatch you cannnot access (doesn't go anywhere special anyway) You encounter a named bloodsucker with a health bar there.

I could be wrong, but I think this addon has its own night skies as well, either way it's a must have imo. Just remember to download the hotfix that attackzone posted in the comments section. --> Moddb.com

Unfortunately no. Gunslinger is it's own deal. It would be extremely difficult to port it to other mods and the Gunslinger devs have claimed in the past that they have no interest in doing so either.

No, but it runs about as good as Anomaly. I use Stalker 2K, Absolute Nature, Arsenal Overhaul, HD Models and more. Id say about 10 crashes in ~100 hours. Its just a bit harder to manage load order.

I agree that added dialog would help immersion a lot, especially for those who have played the original Stalkers.. As for your bug, it's possible that you can be neutral to a faction while your own faction are enemies with them. For example if I do quests for freedom and they eventually become enemies with my faction, they will still be neutral with me to an extent because they remembered I helped them. The top row in the Relations tab would show you better.. It could very well be a bug, it's just a possibility.

There's definitely a clear ending, it just takes a lot longer to get there than most other Stalker games. For reference on my last completed playthrough the time elapsed in the statistics tab in my PDA reads 26 days. Some quests are totally unrelated to the story and others are major milestones.

I ran into the same exact issue. A quest giver can only give out story quests so many times per day. That way it will encourage you to meet new people, but with Monolith you are kind of limited. I don't know the exact timeframe for when they can give out quests again, but just go out exploring for a day or 2 and they will give out new quests (Or just sleep for a full day or two like I did)

You are correct. Completely standalone and seperate from the base Stalker games. Call of the Zone doesn't require any other game or mod whatsoever to function. There are several completely standalone Stalker mods out there, for example: Call of Chernobyl, Anomaly, Dead Air, and of course Call of the Zone.

Are you running the newest CoTZ update? Inside the room should be a decoder you can pick up, if its not there it may have fallen through the floor. Just go to the ground floor directly below the room and it will be there.
