I can't run the shortcut. I get this error message:

The code execution cannot proceed because spooky3.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.

I already tried reinstalling it and it still gives me the same error message.

My memory is a little rusty, but I think this is how I installed it. I'm on Windows 10 and I have the Steam version of Half-Life.
1. Put the "zombie" folder where you have your Half-Life files. Should look something like: C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life

2. Open up Steam and create a new desktop shortcut from Half-Life and rename it to "Half-Life: Zombie Edition" or whatever you want

3. Right click to Properties > Set launch options

4. In the dialog box, type "-nofbo" without the quotes

5. Run the shortcut

I install my other mods like this, except I change the shortcut name to whatever the mod is, and set the launch option to "-filename" of the mod you downloaded. Not sure why this one is "-nofbo", probably has something to do with the game not displaying correctly but idk. Normally it would be "-zombie"

Never mind, it only seems to happen in the zoo level

Why is it when Gordon strafes diagonally it's so slow? Is it supposed to be like that or is it a bug? Either way it feels really clunky

When I launch it it says "cannot find background image.
'materials/console/background/01_widescreen.vtf'"
How do I fix this?

That sounds really promising, and the concept art you have so far look great, I'm more hyped for this than Doom, and it's really hard to get me hyped for something

Really excited at how this will turn out, Half Life: Zombie Edition is my favorite Half-Life mod, right next to Brutal Half-Life, and I'm so glad you've picked up on this amazing mod. My only complaint with the first one was that it was way too short, so I ended up playing through the original Half-Life as a zombified Gordon Freeman multiple times, and I still don't get tired of it. Hope to see this released soon!

Really love this mod, but there's one thing with the AI that bugs me. Whenever I have more than 2 of the same NPCs following me, one of them will just stop following me, so I always end up going back to get the last guy. Other that that, it's 10/10

Got it fixed, but is there a way to get the PCV in the Stadium/Crossfire level? I can't access the console to try giving it to me, and if there's an actual PCV that you have to pick up, then where is it?

Nvm, got it working! Loads of errors everywhere, but oh well, I don't really mind with that stuff, as long as I get to play it

Help. Whenever I launch the mod I get an error message that says
MountFilesystem( 317 ) failed:
Steam Mount File system(4616,317,0x1629fa80=,0x1629f970) failed with error 5: No CS online with App 317 Ver 10
I have Half Life 2 Episode 2 (Non-Steam version). Do I have to get a legitimate copy from Steam? SteamMountFilesystem is all one word btw, I had to space it out because it wouldn't let me post it with it all one word.

I thought this was a Security Guard until I saw "Scientist" at the bottom. Looks amazing.

I really love this mod, and I just started playing it again, but I have a problem:
Whenever I turn on my flashlight, it only illuminates certain surfaces. I never had a problem with this the last time I played it. This makes it a bitch to crawl through vents. Anyone know how to fix? I messed with the settings, but still nothing.

You should make a Half Life 2 version. PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!!!!! It would be awesome. You can play as Lamarr, but before he gets de-beaked. like a lonely headcrab, and you just start possessing everyone for no apparent reason, and start wreaking havoc in the citadel, until Dr. Kleiner captures you.

This is a good mod, but there is a few things that need to be fixed (well one actually) the voice acting is one of the worst things I have heard, the script is great though, the voices are too soft and they don't sound good

The zombie sounds like Simon trying to voice act from the Yogscast
