I'm really happy with this mod but something's odd: the EOTech sight now looks like the Barska when mounted on a gun and the Barska now has a white dot while the EOBarska has the proper green dot.

Edit: On the SG552 it is displayed correctly, but happens with the M4A1.

Then you're doing something wrong, this is the way to enable the developermode. If I knew how to get some pictures to show, I'd do it. Sadly I don't.
Did you add it to the target and not the execute-in-line?
Did you leave a blank between " and -developer?

(And sorry if it does sound wrong, I'm roughly translating here from my first language to proper English)

Rightclick your desktop shortcut, properties, then add to (target)

"C:\Games\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Lost Alpha DC\Lost Alpha Configurator.exe" -developer mode:1

This enables the developer mode in the configurator menu by adding a checkbox.

If you haven't done so, install the game to something like
C:\Games\Star Wars\...etc. otherwise Win X (insert your OS)will write protect it if it's in Programs(x86)or anything down that line.

Nope, AI is stupid enough to try its luck...

Escort Carrier, Titan and Annihilator are now spawning TIE Defendes (replaced the Fighter, but kept the Interceptor), Annihilator has more shield power and lower population cost (for some fun)and the Lucrehulk cost double and take 28 Population, limiting them to one at a time.
Surround it with the big ships and it can't move then hit it with everything you've got and wait for the next to enter the system.

Yep, saves on exit and before battles, not a perfect solution to use it for a save game but still better than nothing.

Use the AutoSave with exiting the game, that's the only way to save and reload without a crash.

Yeah, I figured that much would work with unlimited Conquerors, but the Annihilator is still limited to 5 due to the vanishing icon in the build list.
Yes, it's a lot of firepower, add to that a slightly faster and sturdier TIE Defender and some tweaking in population cost, you can outgun the Lucrehulk. What helps with adding firepower is the Imperial Escort Carrier, I don't know what this thingy is armed with but it's definitely two big f***ing guns.

I know what Tyber Zann is thinking: did I send 5 or only 4 Annihilators? To tell you the truth with all the ships out there I kinda lost track myself. But being this is an Annihilator, the most powerful warship in the galaxy.....

That was.....interesting.

Galactic Conquest.
Just ended a battle Empire vs Consortium, 1:07:59 duration.
Statistics say I'd have destroyed 22(!) Lukrehulks.

Now, I don't know if this is a bug or not, but they kept coming as long as my Interdictors had their Gravity Well Generators powered up, when I turned them off, they'd start retreating.

This makes me request/suggest some things:

first: could we please have more Annihilator SSDs?

second: could we please have more Conqueror SDs?

third: with the amount of cash the Consortium is making each day, they should definitely have the most expensive ships and longer build times.

Anyway, it was a good fight.

Autosave does work for me, didn't try to save after reading about the save game issue.
Would be worth a try renaming that file and see if the game would accept it.
Btw your MC 102 can be found in the Images above, I asked Google for a picture and they linked to this thread.
Big, blueish and a bit like an arrowhead?

Been playing around with capital ships XML files, you could change the numbers for your fighters/bombers.
Just find the line <Starting_Spawned_Units.....>, there you'll find all you need.
Did that for my fleet and now it's feeling more like the Empire taking over the place, swarming with TIEs.

Agreed, Rebels would really need something with the firepower and spawning enough fighter/bomber sqadrons to deal with the Lukrehulks.
Tier 5 ships aren't the big problem, it's the numbers; Consortium seems to build one Hulk for each planet they have and my last battle was fighting around 5 of them.
If it hadn't been for the Annihilator they would have stomped me and taken the system.

Tested all three factions in several 8hours+ games, 4gb patch applied.

A combo of 1k textures and the 4gb patch is definitely helping with performance, especially in large scale battles with lots of bombers dropping their payload on one target.

Tested with the 55 planets gc map.

Impressions on the different factions:

Rebellion: like the new Mon Cal ship and the carrier, which adds to tactics. With overwhelming numbers in fighters and bombers they can take down a Lukrehulk. Later on the B-Wing is great for this.
Planetary assault with small teams until the planet is captured, then call for the fleet.

Empire: a large number (14+) of Victory Star Destroyers can deal with the big ships. Downside, they run out of their sqadrons fast, but lots of TIE-Defenders can fill the gap.
Later on they can hold their own with at least two of the oversized SDs plus lots of support in every system. Planetary defense should be AT-ATs, AT-AAs and artillery.

Consortium: Overpowered. No tech limits, spread corruption in all systems,build a fleet of Lukrehulks and Kandosii (I hope that`s correct, battleship for 8600 creds) and you can rule the galaxy in no time.
Planetary assault with Canderous tanks and mobile rocket launchers.

AI is a sore loser, crashed twice now, both final battles vs Zann and vs Empire.

Just said "blabla.exe has stopped working, etc...", no log, or not that I`d know of one.

Next time I`ll try auto.

Running great on my low end machine, sometimes a 1 second break before something big would blow up.
Thanks for the 1k textures!

But a question has arised: Galactic Conquest has one map named Main Galaxy Campaign (or something down that line, my game is in German, so, uhm....); whenever I try to start it, I get a loading screen for Thyferra and some odd text and then a black screen.
Mouse still working and I can get back to the Main Menu, but then the sound is gone.
What`s that supposed to be?

That old entrance to X18 should be marked on your map, if you did have a talk with Petrenkos contact.
East of the Bandit base and North of the Monolith base, there`s some excavated hole in the ground with lots of boars, pyro- and poltergeists around, basically where the original CoP X18 should be; there you`ll find an entrance to the remains of that lab.
Look for some dead bandits and a hole in the floor, there you`ll find said documents.

Tried to deliver the Yantar-docs to Petrenko, got no dialogue and checked the console:

"!! item [yan_pribor_task_all_docs_has] not found!!"

Any way to mess with mega_cherv to fix this?

Sakharov got all his electronics and I have all 9 docs.
