It was working great for a day or two. Now whenever I try to play the campaign, (either a saved or a new one) it loads until the loading bar is almost full, then crashes. It's like it lost the ability to render the campaign map overnight, for no reason at all. Anyone know a fix?

I have no virtual store folder. I follow the youtube video to where he says it should be and it isn't there. Some comments on the video suggeted that was only a disc version issue and I have the steam version. Is that right? The video didn't mention that.

Set the campaign to "very hard" difficulty. The Fellowship campaign is designed very strictly to only play on very hard, and if you try to do otherwise, it will kill Frodo instantly to prevent you from playing it on easy.
It does work on very hard, though the unique features and workarounds come across as a tad bizarre.

"Windows cannot find 'kingdoms.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again." appears when I click the icon. What on earth does that mean and how do I fix it?

It crashes immediately upon closing the "welcome" event popup that kicks off every campaign. Any way to fix that?

What about trolls and Oliphaunts? Do those work?

Does it affect performance at all that this requires 3rd age, which has been defunct and unplayable for years?
Or is this a standalone download? Or does it somehow fix 3rd age? Or is it compatible with 3rd age reforged?

Sorry if one or more of those are stupid questions, but I'm by no means an expert and didn't want to figure out how to download all these necessary bits and pieces unless I can get it to work, since 3rd age alone doesn't. I hope it will though, cuz it looks amazing & I've been looking for a playable lotr campaign forever.

Is 0.96.1 the latest patch? If so, what the heck is v1.04? It appears on all the online games, making them unjoinable (status: incompatible).

Also, does this patch fix the stability issues with the dwarves? I.e. the crashing that happens instantly when you try using khazad dum reclaimers and usually even if you don't.
