Right, but looking at the video, it's ejecting live rounds after he already fired all of them (instead of empty casings). Like I said, probably a limitation of the game since the models of rounds that are loaded are the same that are ejected whether they are fired or not.

Just FYI, the ejection animation is ejecting unfired rounds. Probably a limitation of the game, though.

Not sure if you're still working on this, but I'm getting this crash when opening my inventory:

Great mod. Being in disguise for 90% of my current playthrough, this is a Godsend. Thanks!

I love the idea of this. Tried it out on my current playthrough, but I'm too OP for it to make any difference with my current artefact loadout constantly replenishing my health.

Will probably try it again on a new game.

Disable the backpack animation in FDDA first (in MCM).

Anyone know where the rookie corpse with Red Fox's PDA is in the Cordon during Freeplay? Can't seem to find it and wanted to start the safe combination quest.

Just an FYI, there's an problem with ladc_prm_weapon_pack.xdb50. (At least in my game).

The inventory_upgrades.ltx needs to be updated as it's missing a few lines compared the one that comes in the base PRM pack. Mainly, wpn_akm_m2 and wpn_rpk74m need to be added. Without them, my game crashes at the Duty Hideout at the Pripyat Outskirts.

I also moved wpn_aug to be in alphabetical order with the others in the list, thought I doubt that makes a difference.

Once that's done, it works fine. This is on 1.4007 DC.

Yes, however, I un-installed it to test, and it made no difference.

At this point, I'm leaning towards it being the PRM pack probably. :(

EDIT:

FOUND IT! It's one of the Small Tweaks Collection mods. I've got about 10 of them installed, so I'll go through and figure out which one it is exactly.

Appreciate all the help, guys. Liquid, you were right!

EDIT 2:

Looks like it was the upgrades for the USAS-12, Saiga, and Aug mod. Disabling that fixed it. Crazy.

Thanks, Morbid. I actually haven't updated my drivers since I installed the game, and 3D Vision isn't installed. That nvwgf2sum.dll line only came up once in my crash logs. All subsequent crashes while testing, it's only been the xrGame.dll's.

Liquid: Appreciate the response. Unfortunately, looks like pulling PRM or CGIM will break my current playthrough, as they both require new games and my saves do not work when they're un-installed. NPC pack made no difference.

I'm pretty sure it's got to be an NPC spawn issue of some sort at that Duty HQ...

Wondering if anyone could shine some light on why I'm getting a crash with no discernible error in the log that I can see. Game has been rock solid up until this point.

Running v1.4007 DC

I'm at the task to meet with Ivancov. The crash happens whenever I move towards the Duty Hideout/HQ at the Pripyat Outskirts from any direction. No error, just CTD. I can explore every other area of the map including the new bar, but not the Duty Hideout. I've got quite a few mods going, but this is the first time I've had ANY trouble with the game after probably close to a hundred hours or so. No other maps seem to have any issues.

The only additional lines in the log when the game crashes as compared to exiting normally are these:

stack trace:

0023:51BB21EE xrGame.dll, CDialogHolder::operator=()
0023:51CF2341 xrGame.dll, CDialogHolder::operator=()
0023:51D0C53F xrGame.dll, CDialogHolder::operator=()
0023:51CA5BD9 xrGame.dll, CDialogHolder::operator=()
0023:57CD2406 nvwgf2um.dll, OpenAdapter12()

There's another person having the same issue on the Lost Alpha Wiki page, but sadly with no solution or update since July.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'd love to finish the story.

Working perfectly here after updating from Hotfix 3. No perceivable performance changes. Got into a scrap with a few bandits in the Meadow, and the AI was great. Rounded a corner, and the bandit got me with a perfectly timed hit with the butt of his rifle. Managed to regain composure and was able to take him out right right as he got a round off into me. Lots of fun.

Had to download a few updated add-ons, mainly the Various Tweaks, as many of the ltx files have small changes which will crash your game if you try to use older ones.

Only thing I wasn't able to keep was my mini-map from the AA2 HUD, but that mod hasn't been updated in a very long time, so it's to be expected. Would love to see this added to the official release. Having to always pull up the PDA, even just to look at the time gets a little tiresome after awhile.
