It indeed is. Those screenshots were shot at 1900*1200 with all the highest graphical settings activated.
Even then the game runs extremely smoothly (I never drop under 60fps on a i5 760/HD 4870 512mo).

The writing is beautiful ! May be too much ;) (As english is not my native language, I had some difficulties to understand some pieces).
Adding english subtitles would help a lot.

Aside, the music was too loud sometimes, so I wasn't able to listen to the narrator. Changing the music volume in the parameters couldn't help.

Again, this is really a great piece of work. I wish we had more of these kind of projects, it really shows that "video games" can be something else than just "entertainement".

Reproducing an existing game is breaking a copyright.

When it's about recreating an old game it's usually not a problem but Far Cry 2 is just out.
So I was just warning the author(s) of the mod, I don't know what's Ubisoft policy about such things.

Changing the name or/and the way the mod is presented could avoid being bothered by Ubisoft. If you just say that it's a mod taking place in Africa I don't think they will (or even be able to) bother the creator of the mod.

Aside, the work done so far is great !

Yes it's a scrolling textures, way cheaper than an animated texture. It's not as nice but I'm pretty happy with the final result.

This looks very intersesting and very different from the usual FPS. Keep it up guys !
