This is a Total Conversion mod that i'm working on using the MAX PAYNE Gaming engine ( MaxED ). The mods based on the 1978 Cult Classic Zombie Horror movie DAWN OF THE DEAD, & i'm trying to stick as closely as can to the movie, & as closely as the MaxED will allow me. I'm also using the DIRECTORS CUT version of the movie as refferance. This mod will have the same story, weapons, characters, music, , movie dialog, & grey skinned Zombies as the original movie, & just like that movie you will have to shoot the Zombies in the head to kill them.

- Or maybe bad news, depending on your outlook on things -
After much deliberation following my loss of interest in continuing with this project after I accidentally lost most of my work due to a hard drive failure while trying to make backups of my work, I have decided not to let this get me down any longer ( & let all of my surviving work go to waste ), & to reinstated my work on this project.
Of course this means that I have a lot of work cut out for myself as I have to rebuild the levels that were lost to me. However, I still have all of the many prefabs & textures that I had designed for the lost levels, so this will should shorten the rebuild time considerably. This unforeseen disaster will also give me the me the opportunity to improve upon aspects of my work in the lost levels that I wasn't entirely happy with.
You may also remember that a while back I was thinking of transferring all of my existing work over from the Max Payne 1 engine to the more advance Max Payne 2 engine. However, since my data loss I feel that doing so would hold up my work considerably more, so have decided to stick to the Max Payne 1 engine, which is fine as I have also since found out the the Max Payne 1 engine is also more flexible for my projects needs anyway.
