Continuing on my earlier post, I tried the steam advice for empire crashing after installing a mod, and it doesn't work (i.e. I renamed "scripts" in C:/users/[username]/the Creative Assembly/Empire to "script_old")

I downloaded this, and played it with great pleasure for a time, but when I then tried to play ETW vanilla, it started The Blue and the Grey, so I deleted The Blue and the Grey, but now Vanilla won't start at all. Every time I try, I get a message: "An Error has occured in Empire Total War" and it closes down

I just saw the first shot of the video. You really must change the names. "House of Scipii" stormtroopers does not work!!

It's really the best total war game ever, with the possible exeption of Shogun. One point of improvement: maybe change the fortresses and stuff to look like the real thing. And I'm not happy that a catholic church is called "Temple of Melkor" in the game. Otherwise great...

I can't recruit any mecenaries, except Orc Looter when I join the invasion and Dale cavalry. Also, the unit card for the Orcs is plain white and reads "placeholder". Is this supposed to be so???

PS I use 1.4.1 so if this picture is for 2.0 sorry.

It's the armor, which is shaped like a fat person, because that deflects blows more easily. Or so I've read...

The places from the books are modeled in the campaign map, but not in the battle maps. A "dark temple of Melkor" even looks like a Catholic church. Why?

I just played for the dwarves and I have a question. Is it really impossible to give the dwarves their own "cavalry". It might even be an infantry unit with high speed and charge bonus or something like it. I really miss the cavalry in this mod. (they are my favorite unit type)

Great mod, but I have a few questions. 1 I can't hire any mercenaries, unless I join the crusade/invasion, and then there is no unit card, but a white field saying "placeholder". Is this just my problem or do others have this as well.
2 THE BALROG NEEDS MORE FIRE!!!!! I know it's been said before, but he's really ugly now.
3 I hate the computer getting extra armies, because even in easy it doesn't happen sometimes, but all the time. And when the difficulty goes up,the cheating gets only worse. I know it's not supposed to be easy, but it is supposed to be possible.
4 Just a thing that has always irritated me in total war, is it possible to save during battles?
