In real life Panther had more effective frontal armor (80mm sloped at 55 degrees i think) than the tiger (100mm almost vertical). Also the Panthers gun had petter penetration than the Tigers.

They were more than that, but it is true that they had no chance but to join the Axis. Before 1944, they were an independent nation.

be sure to make the austrians allso waay crappier than germans coz austrian units were close to being worthless, they even got pwned by the russians, who werent all that great either. i think its gonna be hard to balance if ur going for historic coz austrian troops beeing crappy was the history
