The Great War is a modification for Company of Heroes meant to bring the war two decades earlier. This mod focuses on the later years of the First World War. Currently the two teams will be the British Expeditionary Force against the German Empire, however with time the team will try and bring some more nations in, such as France and Austria-Hungary. This mod will focus or realism but keep the game balanced enough to make it enjoyable. Things to look for in the mod are the famous artillery strikes and the infamous gas attacks. Trenches will provide vital cover for infantry while tanks will roll over the battlefield and instil fear into the enemy troops.

The Gas Mask itself does NOT give you cancer. But the filter does, so if you get a new filter, things should be tip top! I have one myself, an old one it's called GP-5.
The GP-5 as far as I know does not have an asbestos filter.
However, if anyone has a death wish the earlier GP-4 filters made early in the production do contain Asbestos.

If you would live in ex-soviet country, you could look around army hops etc. Governments of these countries ususually want to get rid of extra military supplies left from Cold War desperately. For example - You can get good functional late 80ies gasmask with filters in Poland just for like 5 bucks.
But you still can get some imported stuff in US, altough its off course a lil bit more expensive. Not as costly as new Western gasmask though.

Yes. And that’s why I spend hours filtering every screenshots for any anachronistic prop that might appear, the likes of which fill every vanilla map in the game....

I’m sure you’ll find other silly map details to nitpick about in other screenshots, since we use vanilla CoH maps for a number of them. Have fun.
