Hi there. I am very interested in playing your mod. With Battlefront II being on sale for $3 on Steam, I was wondering if your mod is compatible with the steam version.

Another thing is does your mod HD Improvements to textures and models that are similar to be found in the "Battlefront: Evolved" mod?

Ever thought about getting funds from donations or kickstarter projects to hire needed people? If more people heard about your mod, you might have a higher chance of recruiting people with the knowledge you need.

Honestly, this is one of the good looking mods that Im seeing. Since it's a remake of good old zero hour and stuff on a new engine (and those pics look awesome) Im really hoping you will succeed in your project.

Im still waiting for either a) Revival of C&C Generals that is not F2P or online reliant b) A standalone project that captures the essence of what zero hour truly was running on a newer engine (I was hoping on URE 5, but i heard it doesnt do RTS so well) or c) mods like these.

A clarification on this part: "While you will have your (last known) rank on any online Server you can't gain XP. On an Offline Server you won't have a rank at all but may get access to all items, however those won't be saved."

So for local lan games there will be a separate profile for offline/lan use but works like the online version where you u lvl up and gain skillpoints?

You know, sometimes I wonder why they don't just make a separate game for this seeing as how EA doesn't plan to make a generals 2 anymore (or anything like this) and the developers could probably make a better generals 2 than they could. I mean, base on looking around and seeing the big community support, I think many of us would support and even donate if the Devs ever tried making a indie game of this. Seeing as how the world isn't going to make anymore strategy games like good old C&C zero hour anymore.

A problem with the latest version: when winning duel, victor stays in the dueling arena and does not get transported back after the duel ends.
Also I suggest a recommended starter item shop since a lot of the item names get confusing to find.

I was very surprised and awed when I first started up this game. First time I played this, I almost mistaken myself that I was playing Battlefield 3 because of the beautiful graphics (HUGE improvment from original). As I played I did notice bugs (quite a few), but was mesmerized by the fact that it was almost completely the same as the original Renegade and it was only at beta v0.1!!! I can't wait to see what 0.2 will bring if this is what I'm seeing....
Then I wondered what Zero hour would have looked liked if it was like this....then I saw planned features like "mod support" and thought to myself that may not be as far-fetch of a dream that I once thought of.
But anyway I came to congratulate your hardwork on a beautiful piece ofa game to a Pc community that feels to me like it's in some decline.
I hope to see more updates and more people to come and enjoy this game in the near future.

Something I always miss from Red Alert 3 that never appeared in Zero Hour. :(

Btw, will submarines have a dive ability in which they are invisible underwater for a short time?

Hi there, this mod looks like it improves a lot on the cdo4 (as you have stated). I'm very interested in running this mod and playing with my friends; but, only on a lan server. What I'm asking is, if it possible to experience the full power of this mod (on default configs) if i create a lan server ingame. Past experiences when i try it this way is not very promising for me. :(
I don't really like to edit any configs if possible since I just want to make a local match, and if I could just edit the basic settings of the match ingame. Thanks again for releasng this mod.

Btw, just to make sure i just have to load the mod, then load a map ingame and it will work right? No special configs i need to do? (I'm fine with the default server settings in place) :3

Also since i haven't played on the online server before, what would be the top 5 best maps to play with this mod?

Try re-installing the game, update to the latest patch (1.04). Make sure your computer can run it and if it a laptop or something it not over heating. Btw, what is the error name?

Try reinstalling the game. I'm not entirely sure what causes that error for you because for me it either the AI or my laptop over heating.

Try downloading and use Gen tool. Google that.

The beam's intensity can be set to 'focussed' or 'spread'- That the only thing i need to know about this unit. :)

Lol, i'm getting so excited. The story is heating up! However what about China or the GLA? Doesn't China view Russia as a growing threat as their neighbor if they succeed? And i see GLA is still doing whatever they want in Africa, however will they have any involvment in this conflict in the future? Sorry for the questions, but heck! This is one great storyline you guys got going. ^^

These buildings look so beautiful. When i first saw this, i thought, "Oh a new mod for ZH" then i look at the icon next to it: Wait, why does it say LOTR??? XD This was very surprising for me to learn about this and what youre trying to make. I know it ain't going to be easy, however if you do, then dude youre just too awesome. I love LOTR and generals. But playing LOTR was an amazing experience. And you just trying to fuse those two things together....i have no other words, but rather i give you a thumbs up and good luck. :)
Too bad though there won't be any aircraft. My first choice in generals was always the aiforce general.
