I just watched all the Happy New Year Videos again and i just cant believe this is actually happening. cant wait to see all those levels that werent shown in this demo video with the new graphics and gameplay.
And i completely love the HUD system ammo belt and all those other things that will make this game a true survival experience.

I know that there are lots of people out there that dont like these things, but werent a lot of those features taken out of the original just for the typical COD and BF players. We have to respect dezowave for bringing us all those features which we would never get from a "real" game company. And at the end of the day, werent the mods what made SOC actually playable? Great respect to dezowave for implying so many custom things when they know a lot of people arent going to install it/ or mod it anyways, so i have no idea what all this crying is about.

If Dezowave is able to finish this game with excellent playability, story and missions / leveldesign it might be taken even more seriously than the original SoC.
And if the dream comes true ... All future games in the survival genre will have to be measured by the Lost Alpha

This is looking more than promising i guess it will be probably more than the "dream game" of 2003 that everyone was waiting for... (when all the dream was a couple of screenshots and edited videos with certain shaders and old developers storywork scribbles)
This feels like the Dream finally comes True!

really amazing job, the shadowing looks awesome, i could never understand why gsc never really got them to work properly in vanilla version

i guess modding delay time for weapons repair wouldnt be such a hard feature to implement after release
i like realism, but if i have to wait for days for a weapons repair id just prefer to get a new weapon =)

i have a rely old pc and im gonna have to play la in r1 if at all =) but thats fine with me, i care more about new content and gameplay

I loved this game back in the day and recently got a copy of it from ebay. works great on vista, though sometimes it speeds up to twice the game speed. ( i solved this by opening more programs in the background e g q3 server console =) lol
I dont mind the old graphics too much,
THE ONLY ONE THING I HATE IS THE LACK OF VISION DISTANCE. is there any way to solve this in the files?
also the missions were the best out of the whole series.

Im not sure anymore but if i remember right, in the n64 version more ground units were spawned eg in the first level=?

Also there was more realism in RS 3d you could actually kill ground troopers by flying into them. Classic

well the textures on the buildings look a bit "dry" does it have to do with the lightin? is this final?

with the hanging lamp panels... is it possible to shoot one of chains/cables, so that its only hanging on one of them and lighting the side walls?
