You need GZDoom. Add FATEDOOM.ipk3 to the GZDoom folder. Then just start GZDoom (do not add parameters) and select fate as Iwad. If you use something like -file FATEDOOM.ipk3 it will load the scripts twice and will cause errors.

Before continuing with the second chapter, I made a lot of improvements and added the original demo levels from 1996 as a playable chapter. While not the best of levels, they should be fun to interesting for the people who played the original demo many years ago.

The original game had no weapon sprites for the grenade, so I had to make my own. I'm not good at graphics so that's why it looks like that. I might ask someone to improve the sprites.

Thanks a lot for your comments. I'll fix the problems in C1L5. I might want to give the Regeneration Powerup earlier to the player. Constantly struggling for ammo and health sounds good, the fists are very strong :).

I think I'll use at least some parts of the original maps. Also shootable switches would be cool for secrets.

Thanks! I actually already increased the firerate in the 1.1 version (you might want to check it out, this version also looks much better because it uses the original Fate colors). The rocket rifle can also fire more accurately when firing single shots. I might change the speed of the projectile as well, it is very hard to hit moving targets.

I know about the jumping in the 3rd level, but it is okay, the exit should still be out of reach without getting the key first. Also, great that you found a secret level :).

The firing rate is going to be faster. I agree it is a bit slow.

Yes. New episode should have some new monsters. Will probably borrow some from a similar game, maybe some sprite edits.

Thanks! You are right, it does not, it's like the rocket launcher / plasma gun. Just tried it out with bloodspatters, definately an improvement. I will update it very soon.
