It is likely that you are using V2, where infantry and cavalry packs are separate. Use the most recent update, V3, instead.

I used to get the unit name bug very often. you need to make sure that you have the RoAR mod_unit LOCfile.pack in your ETW data folder. You need to save the the vanilla or any other LOC files for other mods to a folder different then DATA to avoid conflicts. Otherwise, a clean game reinstall should help. Naturally, you will need RoAR V3 DEMO.pack (main mod pack) and mod_no_vanilla_equip_V2 (to have RoAR equipment not blocked by vanilla stuff). Remaining packs are sub-mods that should improve gameplay.

Hessians and Brunswickers will be featured in the mod. They were equipped in the same fashion as Prussians. Prussia and Russia are not planned for RoAR as they are outside the scope of the conflict.

Thank you for the kind words! Creating custom maps is possible, however, I'd don't have the tools and time to do it in the near future. Hessians are an integral part of the mod and are in the works. They will be released in one of the upcoming updates. Currently, the mod covers the American theater with the countries involved and other European armies are not planned, at least not now.

Focus in on Britain and US. If Freance is modified for this specific custom campaign, it will likely not be for the next release.

If by campaign accuracy you imply scripted enemy AI movements and historical battles, it will not be in the mod. With a number of historical generals already added to the campaign map, it will be completely up to you and the AI how history develops past turn 1.

This custom campaign is based on grand campaign where France and Spain are playable by default. The challenge here was to bring in US and focus on American theater. Besides, I didn't make the French and Spanish regiments for nothing ;)
