Focus is on the major factions. As such rework of United Provinces is not planned.
High poly baking sorcery, again!
They sure look like they mean business! A worthy overhaul, bravo, sir!
The ugliest armor in GoT, imho
Good sir! Have patience! When I have news about the campaign, I'll make an announcement ;)
Only marine uniforms down the line.
It is likely that you are using V2, where infantry and cavalry packs are separate. Use the most recent update, V3, instead.
Woa! Looks more than complete to me ;) Good sir, will there be some up-armored Starks and Karstarks as in earlier episodes, too?
Looking sharp! Will the helmets have the emblem of House Bolton, too?
Good sir!The texture on the tunic looks fantastic! The sun on the fabric is barely visible though. Maybe it could be painted with a brighter shade?
Units will be integrated into custom campaign but it takes time. For now, all units are available in custom battles.
I used to get the unit name bug very often. you need to make sure that you have the RoAR mod_unit LOCfile.pack in your ETW data folder. You need to save the the vanilla or any other LOC files for other mods to a folder different then DATA to avoid conflicts. Otherwise, a clean game reinstall should help. Naturally, you will need RoAR V3 DEMO.pack (main mod pack) and mod_no_vanilla_equip_V2 (to have RoAR equipment not blocked by vanilla stuff). Remaining packs are sub-mods that should improve gameplay.
not added yet.
Hessians and Brunswickers will be featured in the mod. They were equipped in the same fashion as Prussians. Prussia and Russia are not planned for RoAR as they are outside the scope of the conflict.
Would be awesome but I am not planning to expand the scope further.
Woa! This is like going from a donkey straight to a Ferarri!
Nothing better than a complete remake!
Looking sharp! Am I seeing both the cuirass and pauldrons having closer fit than earlier?
Thank you for the kind words! Creating custom maps is possible, however, I'd don't have the tools and time to do it in the near future. Hessians are an integral part of the mod and are in the works. They will be released in one of the upcoming updates. Currently, the mod covers the American theater with the countries involved and other European armies are not planned, at least not now.
Great to see a revival of this great mod even for a short time, man!
There is a submod available on Total War Center forums that adds spontoons to officers. You should check it out there.
This mod is the Regiments of American Revolution mod.
Fantastic work you guys! Keep it coming!
Have you ever seen CAI developing intricate strategies in games from CA?
Focus in on Britain and US. If Freance is modified for this specific custom campaign, it will likely not be for the next release.
If by campaign accuracy you imply scripted enemy AI movements and historical battles, it will not be in the mod. With a number of historical generals already added to the campaign map, it will be completely up to you and the AI how history develops past turn 1.
Only the factions that actually took part in the war of American Revolution will be covered in the mod.
This custom campaign is based on grand campaign where France and Spain are playable by default. The challenge here was to bring in US and focus on American theater. Besides, I didn't make the French and Spanish regiments for nothing ;)
A bit early for that :)
You mean the units?
