Aye, nothing wrong with being kinda fat, more to love!

I shortened it a lot as I don't enjoy the idea of hitting it over defensive walls, The lower the profile on a military structure, the better. Plus, it's supposed to take a few hits from the outside before crumbling, thus the walls are thick as a bunker.

Even after that it's still way too high profiled, but I wanted to have concessions for the beloved game that inspired us.

If you haven't discovered yet, Milkshape 3D ^^

And I have tried blender, sculpting on it at this moment, sadly not for LoDr :c Haven't really done much else with it but i'm slowly warming up to all these nice tools lacking in MS3D.

I've always enjoyed the frame-by-frame animation in MS3D, however it gets a little buggy with keyframes and you have to adjust *alot* which is never nice.

You have basically voiced all the things we want to make better hahah! But yes the guns themselves already have the shell ejection system ready, just need to find a way to have Arma animate them!
I also want to make the missiles arc more at launch, like they would from pods at an angle, but as we know, baby steps! Polishing the new mechanics we're coming up with here will make them more available for use in the future!
But I'd still like to make the same amount of units to play around with, and then start touching up the mechanics. :)

Yup! The problem's not making it move, it's all the cool stuff we want to make happen inside of the Dragon, like entering through the hull, or an open hangar bay, hacking your way through the corridors, fighting the enemy team (and the Dragon itself) for control and so forth.

While absolutely agreeing with your point I must admit this design choice comes perhaps from a more juvenile perspective, from a history of viewing such awe-inspiring vehicles such as apache/havoc, or perhaps the orca-copters from the C&C series.

Although I would also make a further development to the idea of radar concealment that it may be that this far into the future technology has reached heights where radar detection, or radar absorbment have become obsolete in the face of advanced jamming technologies, which in turn have been worked around multiple times to reach the stage in 'history' our mod takes place in.

I'm very glad to hear you like it though and I would definitely like to do something more towards a stealthy look like the Comanche, for example!

As it is now, the train would stop as soon as the driver steps on the breaks hahah! We've already talked about trains you'd be able to walk in while they're in transit too, it may even be possible to make a fully automated track. We'll have to see how far more we can push the game engine to the limit!

And I love lovingly animating lovable mechs!

It's most time-consuming and tense work when keyframes don't work correctly and I have to adjust every frame individually, I'm currently working on the reverse animations. It also takes a lot of work to make it look as nice in-game. Wish I didn't have to sleep!

There's always room for improvement but have to start saving both the good old editor and the game engine from the strain at some point hahah!

Ready for weighting now but I am fatigued after today.

Here's what we have planned:
By default you'll have the corporation armor -- we will likely still tweak the current designs as we make another art pass.

After that we're planning on creating varying models for more personalized looking armor sets! Including sets with slight camo, ghillie netting, cloth pieces etc.

However! You may also be able to find more militarized armor sets on the old battlefields while exploring the AO. Goes without saying this will be very dangerous. ;)

In the future updates likely yes! On top of combat support, your corporation drones will also serve deliver cheap call-in vehicles for those 'pinch' situations and ideally be placed under your control, or take a long march to a corporate re-attainment sector.

Very much on it dear sir, as always work and work related projects grind the gears of the workshop.
A lot more than we have made public has been made, however since we're both big fans of both WH40k and detail, we're going to have a lot more content done before we assemble it. There's so much in the 40k universe to visualize after all!
If we'd have all the time in the world to get together and work on it we'd love to. Alas!

It's ok though 2 things bugged me lore-wise.
- The resonance cascade supposedly opened portals to other dimensions, not planets.
- The combine didn't colonize earth, they invaded and enslaved.

Would be the awesome-st if that green bubly thing(where the text appears?) would turn out to be a lens of Shepard's gas mask and he'd open his eyes to find himself being kept in some sort of stasis <) but that's just my imagination I suppose.

Well if you'll find an easter egg you'll know there's one ;p

HL2 has never had a skirmish mode, all the fighting you'll do will be within the story.

However we have plans for a couple more "episodes" if you will regardless. I would remind you that this is a story-driven 1-player FPS.

....Of those suggestions at least.

1. Half-Life 2 does not use, nor need a cover system. We'd be fools to try to implement a completely new feature that would be pointless and a waste of time for our gameplay.

2. Do you want the mod to be in development for extra 8 years? Cus that's how long it would take on our pace to make you 2 extra campaigns.

3. That would also require a different campaign for every single character to play as. ~ 4 years for that.

So yeah, nööööööy, we won't be doing any o' that.
