Very interesting!
Very interesting!
Looks really well done, great use of NT assets. Those screenshot look awesome!
And what will happen when ModDB will go down?
People have no concept of conservation these days.
That's why most people still use Microsoft's Windows I guess.
hmmmm... wait.... Icy Tower? ... is that you?
This mod NEEDS to be polished a little bit more and released on Steam!
Perhaps a standalone version sold on an updated engine could make a profit! Who knows!
I would bet that the mod has the potential to be released at a price and be a huge success if it ever got remade with a new engine.
****, I'd pay 70 bucks just to get a big update on the game x_x

also, a Macintosh version is being developped.
Any chance of seeing a Linux/Mac release as well? :3
People are playing again!
Any more updates in the future? :P
The game looks very good, like a clone of Uplink. Played for an hour, I like it very much so far! :)
Too bad there is no Mac or Linux port though :(
I agree! Also there should be some sort of vending maching that would act as a merchant or something... The game definitely could use some expansion.
Yes that's a needed feature! I often don't have much time to play, and being able to pick up where I left would help a lot. It's a bore to redo the same first levels over and over.
In reply to myself, the devs do provide a linux version, it should be available soon on Desura! :)
Of course, the game could use some tweaking like adding more resolution options, limiting the amount of white flashes it inflinges on you when teleporting, setting sound levels... But overall, it's really neat and interesting! This game deserves more attention!
There is a Linux demo version available on the devs' website.
Will there be a linux version of the full game on Desura someday?
(also I'm wondering if the linux version is available if you buy on their website too)
P.S.: Rogue-like games <3 <3
That sounds nice, but I can't log into the game, the error say "can't connect to master server" when trying to authenticate.
I'm running the linux version. :/
check the Positech forums, there is a linux support section and a topic dealing about this.
Nice game, all the DLCs seem to work on Linux as well. Just need a trick first though, got to convert all the BMP and DDS files to JPEG and PNG (this also helps witht he white screen bug).**
There are still some issues like using registration code to play the campaign in some cases. Other than that the game is fine.
Is there a way to know which version Desura provides? The latest should be 1.60.
It's not that evil, and it might actually help the Linux world tremendously by bringing more players to this OS.
This looks very well polished and interesting!
Hopefully will be on Desura... perhaps even a Linux version too? or is it too much work? :p
Is there a standalone version of this?
I'm tempted to buy on Desura, but I'd rather buy it on the dev's website (DRM free) if it's the only way to get the game work from an USB pendrive...
I really like the fact that the game has Linux support!
I love Desura for having Linux support. Will be buying lots from them soon!
This game is awesome! Wish it could run on LINUX natively though... :/

I like games when they get ported to Linux!
