Hmmmm... weird. But not entirely untrue. It's just that when we use our hp laptops we can play multiplayer with AI without the mismatches. But with my current laptop and either of the 2 hp's we experience mismatch around 70-80%. Do you think it has something to do with the specs of the laptops? Like with the syncing of FPS? since my current is faster than the hp's.

Ah! Also can you do something about the mismatches in this update? I downloaded all the fix patches on both laptops in Contra 007 but still get mismatches when playing with a friend against AI. But if it's PvP then there's no problem. I'm pretty sure it's caused by this mod because in other mods and the clean zero hour we didn't experience any mismatches. Thanks again for bringing this great mod to the gaming community.

Why use at your own risk? what are the worst case scenarios for this patch?

It's not really that hard. I could do 3 insane AI alone. there are times that are to difficult to overcome but not entirely unplayable.

WIll this combined with the net fix reduce mismatches?

quick question, does this work for non-steam loader versions?

I don't have any other add-ons installed this is the first one I downloaded. Maybe it's because my left 4 dead 2 is a non steam loader version? does this mod require steam to play? Or can work offline?

ahh I see what you mean unfortunately that's what I already did and it crashes right after loading the campaign with no error pop ups. So I guess that leaves me with the workshop version. Call me curious but what is the workshop version anyways?

Also when you said to "download this version (one 1.2gb vpk file)" did you mean this back to school version? or were you actually referring to a different file? since this version is only 570 mb.

Okay, so I pasted it in the left 4 dead 2 folder (not in steam) and it appears to be running smoothly until it finishes loading the campaign where it crashes instantly. any suggestions?

quick question is it really necessary to have it run with steam? Can't I just put it at left 4 dead 2 addons?

Also I'd like to point out that mismatches doesn't appear right after the beginning of the game, but it still appears very frequently that me and my nephew can't finish a single game versus ai anymore due to mismatches.

Okay so I think that the oil refinery when it recovers ( after being destroyed ) doesn't give a discount when captured anymore. Since the only thing that happened was I captured it and then recaptured it again after it was destroyed and nothing. still not entirely sure if it's just random or not though

Also I just noticed that capturing an oil refinery doesn't reduce the cost of units. Their prices are still the same. For the flame general that is. Haven't tried that with the other generals yet

Yeah, I know for sure it started with the zero hour expansion since the main game doesn't experience these mismatches.

I read the description and I know it's suppose to happen rarely but... around 10/13 game mismatches. 2 games where 1-1 with no AI while the other one is 2-2 (2 AI's, 2 Players)I'm not blaming the mod or anything but it's more or less still the same. Btw, I already copied the net fix to both laptops and the AI fix to my laptop but the other one hasn't yet. So maybe that would be the problem but I'm not really sure. Just hoping to know if there are, or maybe, any alternatives? Tnx for the Mod by the way it's awesome!

actually in my situation if there is no AI involved then I could play the game smoothly but otherwise it mismatches. any suggestions?

Nvm I manage to get it to work by uninstalling it and reinstalling a different Zero hour

Tried running it with launcher "Serious error", Tried running it again in compatibility with and run as admin "Serious error", Did the manual install and ran it through generals.exe "Serious error", Ran the generals.exe in compatibility with and admin "Serious error", Deleted previous zero hour folder in documents and ran launcher and generals.exe with and without compatibility with and admin "Serious error"

They can actually... There is always sabotage and tactics to use... but that doesn't change the fact that they are overpowered. Still, it's doable, difficult, but doable.

Putting that topic aside, I want to ask does the UAN beta contain generals for all factions or just one faction?

Scratch my previous comment, I found the riflemanus folder but it was on a different path. Mine was "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires III\art\units\infantry_ranged\riflemanus" So my question is. Is this the same as the one you've given and should I delete this? Or it is something different and should be left alone? just want to be sure :)

I finally visited your blog again and followed your instructions on deleting the riflemanus folder in "\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires III\
\Steam\steamapps\Age of Empires 3\bin\"
sadly I don't have a steam folder in my AOE 3 game directory I entered \Microsoft Games\Age of Empires III\Steam and windows couldn't find the path. So I'm guessing I don't have that. Are there any alternatives?

kinda wondering though... If you're finished working with that other mod is there by any chance that this mod will be revived or something?
