Oh hey, BlackMoons, nice to see how far this project of yours has gotten.
I'll continue spreading the word about it.

He's already gone on record as stating that he won't personally be making any more of this mod. If I had any modding skills and a sense of humour I would take that as an invitation to continue this legacy.
I love your team for making long, fun, atmospheric mods... I'll definitely be watching this.
Hey, TiiM, I know you're having trouble finding solid time to work on the mod... but I have an idea. If you ever get a couple of minutes free, you could add in more of the wonderfully imaginative Easter-eggs and hidden caches/objects/areas similar to those in DW1. I love being able to replay a mod and find something new every time. And best of all, the simple ones take only a short time, and every one could tell a short story - A bloodstain leading to a body clutching a grenade could suggest a wounded rebel crawling off and attempting to take out his assailants with them, among many other narratives. Leaving room for the player to make their own story adds to the charm of mods, and you achieved this brilliantly in DW1. <3
I must say this is a damn good mod. Sure, the map quality is HL1-esque, and the cinematics are somewhat annoying to sit through more than once, but the sheer size and gameplay make up for this.
I'm puzzled by the, ah, lack of puzzles, however. By which I mean non-combat puzzles.
Anyway, good job.
Shoo. I notice you've been spamming that on almost all of the mods. Ah well, back to enjoying my life!
Developers never develop while you are watching... it's a philosophical thing, a little like Schrödinger's cat. I'm confident that we'll have an update soon... try to understand that he is a very busy man, he is juggling his future (education) with developing what must be, at times, a very strenuous mod (I've tried modding, it's bloody difficult to break into. I respect dev's for their patience!) Tell you what, if there are no updates by July, come back and inquire politely as to whether there will be updates in the near future. Works for me. Thinking about it all the time will just make it seem longer.
Good luck with your studies until then!
I'll bet you didn't even attempt to troubleshoot with that attitude.
Cry more.
It uses the same engine as Half-Life, ergo, it should include sv_cheats 1 and god.
It takes a level load screen for cheats to work after enabling them with sv_cheats 1 though.
If it comes out on the 12th, it's officially my birthday present.
Still the best multiplayer mod out there.
Outrageously fun with even a single friend, even if there aren't many active servers nearby.
Also, completing x amount of achieves should unlock a custom title.
That happens in vanilla HL2.
Cause, y'know, you need him to operate the gate at the end of the level.

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY.
That is all.
Ok, I can confirm that the 2.0 installer does NOT extract dw_ep1_03a.bsp
It is, however, included in the patch above it.
Did you even notice the sketch on the wall?
I mean, it isn't in english, but regardless it shows you what you need to do - activate the electricity.Just go up the road.
(The map is on the wall in the room with the HEV suit.)
Ignore me! Never mind! Turns out it fixed itself! I feel so ashamed -.-
The prequel broke; it gets stuck on the loading screen (more in-depth on the page for it)
I recently booted the mod up (Actually, it's worth being called "game") and as it turns out, something is broken. I was showing a friend the game; they complained that after launching the game got stuck on the loading screen between the dangerous world logo and the main menu. I confirmed this... TiiM, if you get any free time and it appears that the game has broken, could you please look into fixing this?
Thanks man.
Single player? Oh, boy!
Seriously, i've had trouble finding worthy Sp mods out there. Too many people aim for multiplayer.
Although you've probably been suggested this, why not encode each of the inventory items as a weapon? Then, they integrate with the weapon switching system already in place.
Please clean up the spelling and grammar of the summary.
Oh hey, any news on whether or not this will ever be available to download with Desura?
TiiM, you are truly the greatest solo modder I have ever seen... I loved the first DW, with the convoluted but well-linked plot, occasional glimpses of the aftermath of Freeman's escape, and immersive atmosphere. I am prepared to wait for any amount of time for a sequel; take your time! And, thanks greatly for sharing your creation with all of us.
Best of luck!
TiiM, there appears to be a problem with the version on the website. As in, the download page there for the mod is a 404. At least this one works.
Quick question... are there any problems with the steam version of ARMA 2?
Argh, accidently issued bad karma to a good comment.
Anyway, THANK, YOU, FOR, THE, DEMO. Finding it awesome. Keep up the great work! :3
Isn't this the barrel factory modification that was released a long time ago? the collision-enabled xbow bolts hear me out on that. And the screenshot.
Found it. Interlopers.net
That is MOST DEFINATELY this map. And it was released in 2009.
