So many good words can be said, but I won't take much of your time, because many people have already did before me. You just need to know, that this mod is a pure masterpiece. I remember playing it for the first time, it was on the hard mode, and I remember it was really, really hard, but I liked it very much anyway. I've just finished playing it on the medium mode and I liked it even more. The field intensity is in the list of the best hl mods and in my heart forever.

One of the best hl mods I've played. In fact, it's not a mod, it's a great old-school shooter with lovely half-life spirit. I really enjoyed it. In my opinion, now there are three legend-plot-mods for hl: Echoes, Field Intensity and Delta Particles. This one has very well made shooting system (aliens' destroying never was such satisfying), really nice looking mapping with unique style and great visual decisions, so there are no boring locations. My only complaint is voice acting, because of strong Russian accent. I know, you, guys, tried your best and the result is not bad, but the fact of Delta base located in Nevada, really conflicts with characters' speeches. Anyway, the mod is very atmospheric and exciting. I've also played the old version of the mod before (I haven't ended it then though), and the final result is much, much better. Great work.
P.S. The ending could be better :). I was expecting of walking through old, decayed and abandoned complex to the surface and seeing Alien Combine's flying synths or smth like that, but the fact of moving the part of complex to Xen looks really strange, and the ending is too uncertain. What the sense of the time-jumping than?
